Stacking the Shelves (28)

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews.  This week was mainly a physical haul, but I didn't pay full price for any of these and one was even free!  First up is .......

Even though I can't seem to get this straightened, I received this wonderful package from Michael Phillip Cash and his publisher for review.  I thought the promotional cards with the books title, Pokergeist,  on them as well as the poker chip key chain were a cute touch.  I look forward to reading this and it seems to have pretty good ratings on Goodreads.

I bought these two books at a local discount warehouse store.  Snoopy Cowabunga and Follow Me  Home by Cathy Woodman.  Little did I know that Follow Me Home is #8 in a series - they could have put that on the cover somewhere!

And because I am sick of sideways pictures:

I got these at a discount store for $2.99 each with 10% off. They are beautiful hardbacks with illustrations. I haven't read any of these but for this price, I couldn't pass them up.

Finally from Penguin First to Read I received:

I have been wanting this one for ages and it comes out in September.  So thrilled to have access to it now.

So what did you get this week?  Have you read any of these?  Please leave a comment so I can check out your haul.

  1. Looks like a fun haul, especially Pokergeist. I hear the Dark Tower series is a good one and great King classic. Enjoy.

  5. This is certainly an eclectic haul!

I like the "Pokergeist" book; I think the title is a nice pun, and the swag cute. The Snoopy book is an adorable one for kids, while the other one, "Follow Me Home", looks like a great romantic read.

As for the King books, I must confess he's not my cup of tea at all, but I do hope you enjoy them! I've seen the last one, "Blood and Salt", on several blogs, and it looks interesting, so I'll check it out further. Ditto with "Pokergeist" and "Follow Me Home".

Happy Reading! Thanks for visiting me and leaving a comment on my STS post!! : )
