MY THOUGHTS:
I have owned this book for over a year and finally decided to give it a go. Kinski tells the story about a man on a business trip who finds a lost dog. Just as he decides to keep it, the humane society come and tell him he has to go through the adoption process. Since he is on a trip from out of town, that isn't possible, so he steals the dog that evening. The story proceeds from there and involves an abusive boyfriend, a mother and child who have lost their dog (Kinski), action, adventure and a trip to New Mexico. This book has been described as having a sort of Breaking Bad vibe and since I have never watched it, I couldn't tell you. However, it was an enjoyable read and the artwork, all done in black and white, really fits the grittiness of the story. Definitely a good read.

I've never read a graphic novel. This looks like it might be the one for me. (I liked Breaking Bad!)
ReplyDeleteYou should give it a go Jackie. I have to be in the right mood to read one, but they are nice every once in a while because you can usually finish them in one sitting.
