Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews. Clicking on the book should take you to the Goodreads page.
First up is a wonderful book which I received in the mail from the author this week. I can't wait to read it and Janelle will be doing an author interview in April so keep you eyes out for that.
I had to go to the library and pick up a hold (Riders) so this is what came home with me. You know it can't just be one book.
The Ghost Network has very mixed reviews from Goodreads so I am not sure if I will get to it or not. Mainly, I made the trip just to pick up Riders.
I received 3 books from Netgalley this week.
I remember my grandmother loving Vincent Price and he will always be the iconic voice of Michael Jackson's Thriller. Had to grab this when I saw it. Before the Feast sounds like another trip into the odd and weird. It's a translated novel so we will see.
And finally I got this beautiful hardback from Bookoutlet! I've been wanting it for some time and I think I paid $2.99 plus shipping.
Did I scare ya??? It will make a good Christmas read this year.
So what did you add to your shelves this week?
That Wingdog cover is almost identicle to the dog my dad feeds every week when his family come to wash out our bins. His name is Fergie! Ooh Krampus! Things that scare and eat children are my kind of things!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks this week! I think I might go put in a request for Riders at my library. Great idea! I was tempted by the Vincent Price book myself but I am banning myself from requesting right now. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! I really want to read Riders and Sweet Tooth soon! Krampus looks amazing! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSome interesting books you got this week, not heard of any except for Krampus. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading,
Stormi
Labyrinth Lost has such a beautiful cover! That and Riders are on my TBR. Hope you enjoy all these! That cover for Krampus is creepily awesome.
