MY THOUGHTS: This volume was quite different than the first two mainly because it has new illustrators. I have to admit I really enjoy the artwork more as it just seems to suit the girls and they style better. This volume follows Hannah back to her school days at Mage University and we learn more about her past and why she is who she is today. I can't say that Hannah is my favorite Queen - that title goes to Betty, but there is enough of the other girls and some additional happenings which made for an interesting read. I will admit this was probably actually closer to a 3 paw read, but there is the cutest scene between Betty and an Ice Dragon that in my opinion, totally stole the show and highly influenced my rating. I look forward to the next installment and if you are a fan of the series, you must read this one as well!

Sounds good. I do have this one on my tbr list. Your thoughts make me want to start this series sooner.
ReplyDeleteGreat review! I love this series. I think this one wasn't as good due to all the artist changes and the writer's frustrations. I can't wait for volume 4 though!!! :D It should be back to 100%. I hope so, this is such an amazing series.
