I ADORE Lucy Dillon's books and the dogs inside them are just as cute as the ones on the cover. "A Hundred Pieces of Me" is probably my favorite of the 4 and I definitely recommend it.
I love Jackie's books and Maybe stole Booker T's heard and is still his #1 book girlfriend.
I still need to read many of Cameron's books but I am current on his Repo Man series which features a lazy yet adorable basset named Jake. I seriously want this German Shepard puppy!!!
I still need to read both of these but I'll admit, I bought Sit! Stay! Speak! solely on the cover alone!
So I highly recommend the two books from the Nick Trout series - they're awesome. I still need to read Earnest and Boomer's Bucket List. Also, as a bonus, I love Jenn McKinlay's cozy mystery series and she has a new book series starting this year and About A Dog is the new one. It's hard to tell but that's a boxer pup on the cover - got to have it!
So there you have it, lots of puppy love and kisses which I suppose is technically one of my favorite romantic tropes.
Puppies! That's the only kind of love I want to see! German Shepherd puppies are the cutest little fluffballs and I love that cover!
ReplyDeleteI know. We don't see many German Shepherds where I live but I think they are so adorable. Would love to have one eventually but oh, the hair!
DeleteThose are some very cute covers! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I can always find cute dog covers.
DeleteI love all of them. A really cute puppy is a Sharpei. They are all kinds of wrinkled cuteness. LOL
ReplyDeleteI was obsessed with Sharpei's as a kid and was always trying to get my Dad to buy me one. Then I heard they grow into their wrinkles and that's part of the appeal for me.
DeleteAdorbs! I love the Cameron dog covers.

They are cute.
DeleteAww these are all cute. Love Lost Dogs & Lonely Hearts (that cover) and A Hundred Pieces of Me. And I've thought about trying Jenn McKinlay's cozies too, I didn't know she was doing a dog series.
ReplyDeleteYea it's a new series this year. I love her library cozy series and would definitely recommend it. It's one series I am actually current on. I feared the last book was the last one the way it ended but she assured me on twitter she is already at one on the next installment.
DeleteI want these! I can't get enough of dog pics. I haven't read any of these but should try to fit a few dog books into my reading.
ReplyDeleteI HIGHLY recommend the Lucy Dillon books. There are sort of women's fiction/contemporary and not my usual reads, but I fell in love with them. They're not really a series but sort of companion novels.
DeleteAww this was such a treat to look at! Love all the covers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, gotta add some of them to my tbr!

DeleteOh my goodness, look at these cove3rs! They're all so adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI know. Everyone needs a puppy in their life for Valentine's Day.
DeleteOh you're killing me with cuteness here! I think HOuse Trained may be my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteHouse Trained is an awesome book and the author is such a nice lady. I love her and her real dog, Rita.
DeleteOhmygoodness, I should not look at this post too closely. . . But I will :)
ReplyDeleteHehe :)
DeleteUgh, I haven't read any of them and now I feel I must. You are killing me.
ReplyDeleteI thought of you when I made this post. I had told you I was going to do a dog related post soon. Glad you enjoyed it!
Deletelol, I have it bookmarked so I can add all of the books to my wishlist later :)
DeleteOh! Thanks so much for including my book babies in your list! (I love those covers too - but I'm pretty darn biased!!!) I LOVE Lucy Dillon's covers. I need to get her books and read them. (I've been on this big historical fiction kick right now. Need to put her books on my To Read list.)
