Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews. And it now has a new co-host where individuals can link up as well - Marlene from Reading Reality. Clicking on the book (or title) should take you to the Goodreads page. I'm also now linking up with the Sunday Post which is hosted by Kimberly@Caffeinated Book Reviewer. I'm hoping to discover some new blogs to love.
I have a few quick books to haul today. Since I've been on vacation, I haven't been on the computer as much which I have found tends to lend itself to fewer books. There are still a few great ones to share though. I managed to get all of these from the Penguin First to Read program and am probably the most excited about "Spellbook of the Lost and Found."
What did you add to your shelves this week?
As usual I showed little restraint this week! I got a nice mix of genres including book 2 of that Renee George series about Smooshie-she was adorable! I enjoyed the first one more than I thought I would so that's a 3.5 star! That sheriff needs a slap though...
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you enjoyed Smooshie. I wanted to slap the sheriff as well.
DeleteI got one from First to Read this week to The Driver. Almost thought about getting the Spell book but didn't. Hope you like them all!
ReplyDeleteStormi
I've heard good things about it so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
DeleteI'm a huge Stephanie Kuehn fan so I'm dying to read her latest. But I'm also trying to keep my trigger happy request finger under control, so I didn't request it. Looking forward to your review!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't a huge fan of her last one but this one does sound pretty interesting.
DeleteOh all of these look pretty. I hope you enjoy them all and your vacation! My Shelf
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Eve.
DeleteLooks like you got some good ones!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so!
Delete:-) Beautiful collection! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThose are good looking books. I've been doing a good job resisting the offerings at First to Read, but NetGalley has been killing me lately!

I can almost always find something from First to Read which usually catches my eye.
DeleteHow To Change A Life looks interesting, just based off that cover! I like that one. And Spellbook is supposed to be good from what I've seen.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I liked that cover too which is probably why I grabbed it in the first place.
DeleteWhen I am Through with You AHHHH, I am crossing my fingers and hoping it's as good as it sounds!@
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be getting quite a bit of hype.
DeleteI need to go look up When I am Through with You. That one is calling out to me.
ReplyDeleteI hope I love it!
DeleteThose books look good. How to Change A Life has my attention. Enjoy and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt has such a pretty cover.
DeleteI holding out for the audio review copy of Spellbook of the Lost and Found. I enjoyed her last book. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI don't do well with audio books but I hope get one!
DeleteI hope your vacation is going well! I loved Fowley-Doyle's debut and am looking forward to reading this new book. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week, Barb. =)
Check out my STS post!
It went well but also went much too fast.
DeleteI have been on vacation this week, too. I always think it is funny how we tend to choose the same First to Read books. I am looking forward to Spellbook of the Lost and Found myself.
ReplyDeleteWe definitely have similar tastes.
DeleteThis was a hectic week, with hubby being home the whole time. We saw some baseball, some Blue Angels and messed around at home. Hope you had a great time too.
