WHY I CAN'T WAIT: I never read "Let the Right One In" but I did enjoy the movie (at least one version of it but I can't recall which one). Anyways, I have always wanted to give one of his books a try and this new release pulled me in with the cover. Plus, it sounds really tense and isn't it the perfect time of year for these kind of reads?

I'm dying to read this too, and really sad that there isn't a US release yet. I think this might be UK. Let Me In is seriously one of my all time favorite books, and I LOVED both movies, the US and the Swedish one. I don't think I've ever thought that two different versions of the same movie were just as brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI don't quite understand. I'm able to order both a hardback and a paperback from Amazon right now (which I didn't check before but after your comment figured I better set about securing a copy).
DeleteChiming in here! I wasn't able to find a copy for sale from Amazon either, but I saw there were a couple of third party sellers on there that you can purchase from. Which is good because I'm definitely intrigue by this book too.

DeleteHere I am, Barb!! Thanks SO VERY MUCH for your (and the boys') thoughts and prayers!! Thank God, we got through the storm just fine! I was SO SCARED (see, I'm a BIG chicken, lol) we'd be getting Cat 5 winds, but no. We were out of "the cone of concern", but, since Irma was SO HUGE, we did get some Cat 1 and 2 winds. But we didn't have much damage to buildings. We did, however, have many downed trees, as well as branches. This made me sad, as I ADORE trees!!
