So this week's topic was actually books I'd slay a LION to get early. Well, this is a cruelty free blog and anyways, what did that lion ever do to us? So I'm changing it to books I'd slay ZOMBIES to get early. On to the list!
The Outsider - Stephen King
We Sold Our Souls - Grady Hendrix (I just discovered this one this week)
The One Unspoken (The One Unspoken #1) - Sarah Bryant
Voyage of the Dogs - Greg Van Eekhout
Sawkill Girls - Claire LeGrand
The Cabin at the End of the World - Paul Tremblay
Fury (Menagerie #3) - Rachel Vincent (LOOK AT THIS COVER!!!!)
Crusoe - Ryan Beauchesne (You knew there'd be dog books)
Echos - Alice Reeds
The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein - Kiersten White
So there you have it.
PS - SAVE THE LIONS!
I'm liking your list. Some new ones I'd not heard of. Cute lion!
ReplyDeleteYes save the Lions (even though they are cats lol) I didn't know Stephen King had a new book coming out. Great looking list.
ReplyDeleteI just downloaded Sawkill Girls off of Edelweiss and cannot to check it out! It sounds so amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your zombie slaying twist! I haven’t heard of any of these books before but I’ll definitely be checking them out. Great list!

I agree that slaying a zombie is better! The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein sounds intriguing. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for changing the topic of this weeks TTT. That one really disturbed me and turned me off the TTT this week, to be honest. Awesome looking list of books too :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly, a lot of people have disliked the prompt wording enough to comment on it. I hope this is noted for future prompts, as lion slaying really wasn't necessary. Hope you get to read all your books before the zombies get you!
ReplyDeleteGreat list, I only know of a couple you have listed so had to check out some and found some I want too! :)
ReplyDeleteHah! I love that you changed the wording because you're against animal cruelty (vegan here). What about books you would give up caffeine for? Chocolate? Those seem like reasonable yet difficult alternatives.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of these books, but I'll look for your reviews! :)
Do You Dog-ear?
I'm also super excited for the new King. I hope it's as good as it sounds!
ReplyDeleteI don't even know that the Sawkill Girls is about, but I already want it. Also really excited for The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Fury! It just so happens I'm reading Menagerie at the moment, so yeah I'll be looking forward to Fury soon I imagine! Also The One Unspoken is one I need t ofind out more about.
ReplyDeleteLions shoukd always be saved and we’d probably all run the other way if faced with a lion lol The One unspoken looks so good — theres something about the cover thats just mesmerising and not to mention KILLER tag line!
ReplyDeleteAh! Great list!!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I LOVE your title for this week's post. I also didn't want to slay any lions lol
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Whoa, you've got a bunch of books on here I've never heard of! What, Grady Hendrix has a new book coming out????
ReplyDeleteI am really excited about Fury! Can't wait for that one! Let's save all of the lions :)
ReplyDeleteI grabbed We Sold Our Souls last from NetGalley last week, because a new Grady Hendrix novel is definitely one I'd like to get my hands on early!

Great choices! Some stunning covers you picked out! I hope you'll enjoy them all! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteYES to the new Stephen King and the new Grady Hendrix. MUST READS. I have a copy of the new Paul Tremblay. I can't WAIT to read it. I've been hearing amazing things. I very much love that you changed your topic to slaying zombies.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of Fury! I was going to do this prompt, too, but I ran out of energy, ha ha. I tot didn't want to slay lions, so I was going to do books I would commit a felony for. Ha ha.
