Stacking the Shelves (171)/Sunday Post

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews. And it now has a new co-host where individuals can link up as well - Marlene from Reading Reality.  Clicking on the book (or title) should take you to the Goodreads page.  I'm also now linking up with the Sunday Post which is hosted by Kimberly@Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I grabbed a few books from Penguin's First to Read program a week or so ago.  I couldn't resist because I love Jenn McKinlay's Library Lovers series and was thrilled to get a copy of "Hitting the Books."  I also managed to get "Give the Dark My Love" and "Phoenix Unbound."  Don't these all look so good?

And then I managed to grab this one from my library.  Hope "The Window" is better than "The Woman in the Window" because the titles are too similar and I've managed so far to avoid the other one.

I did get a few review books from Netgalley but I think I'll save those for next week (because I'm feeling lazy #IDon'tWanna).

So what did you add to your shelves this week???

  1. Lucky! I missed out on Give the Dark My Love. I hope you love it and I cannot wait to see what you think. <3 Phoenix Unbound looks good, too. :)

  3. I love that you're feeling lazy, lol. Right there with you. I have the house to myself this weekend so I'm doing a happy dance as I'm writing this! I got copies of Phoenix Unbound and Give the Dark my Love at Comic Con, they both sound fantastic๐Ÿ˜

  4. I love the cover of the Beth Revis book but it has tropes I'm not a fan of (ie mean kids at school) so I doubt I would read but I hope you love it!

    1. I'm hoping the tropes are tolerable. I'll admit the cover intrigues me more than anything. I hope it's at last dark!

  5. I've heard great things about Grace Draven! I was tempted to pick that one up myself but I've been trying to be good with review books (because I'm currently drowning lol) Happy reading!

  7. I thought The Window was pretty good. It wasn't amazing or anything (IMO) but decent. I love that cover! And I've heard Jenn McKinlay's books are good!

    Happy Saturday!!!

  8. We were more alike with this last round of First to Read. I grabbed the Grace Draven book then was approved for it on NetGalley the next day and felt kind of bad about taking a copy. I also grabbed Give the Dark my Love. I hope we both enjoy these!

    1. You definitely need to check out the series. This is book #9 and it's one series that I'm current on which must mean it's good :)
