The topic this week is our favorite cozy/wintry reads. I'm modifying it a tad and sharing with you my favorite wintry covers of books of I've read in the past.
So I guess the wintry theme is snow and/or dogs. Of course it's always better when it's both!
I do enjoy those wintery covers that features doggie. I notice more of Christmas romance books have pets on the covers. Have lovely day Barb.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's definitely a marketing ploy.
DeleteI'm going to be sharing three weeks of winter settings as none of my winter reads could ever be cozy!
ReplyDeleteNope, but while they may not be cozy, they sure are fun!
DeleteI love them! There's something about snow, and dogs, that hooks me! LOL
ReplyDeleteYes, snow makes my pups so frisky (ask T who wanted to play in falling flakes at 2am last night!).
DeleteIs it any surprise that there are dogs and cats on most of these??😉
ReplyDeleteNope, not at all. Hey, I did throw in a horror or two.
DeleteI like the wintry/cozy cover idea! I of course love all the ones with dog on them but that Mutts and Mistletoe one is still my favorite. So adorable.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a lovely cover. If only those 2 dogs were IN the book and not just on it!
DeleteThe doggie one's are my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteMine too!
DeleteThose are some great wintry covers. I was trying to pick a favorite, but I'm torn between Walking Back to Happiness and Mutts and Mistletoe. Wither's Legacy is awesomely creepy, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of Lucy Dillon's books and I would recommend them to anyone who like "women's fiction."
DeleteI love the look of Snowblind, and Due or Die too.
ReplyDeleteDue or Die is one of my favorite series and Snowblind was such a good read.
DeleteLook at those precious doggy faces on those covers. I love all the Christmas themed ones as well. Awesome list!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alicia. Glad to see you back!
DeleteThese all look so festive! Makes me giddy just looking at them. Hope you have a great week. - Katie
ReplyDeleteI just want to play with all the doggies!
DeleteOhhh, these all look super sweet!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica!
DeleteAw, what a nice mix of chilly covers and festive ones!

Yea, I could have put at least two more horror books on there but I forgot all about Night Shift!
DeletePupcakes, be still my heart -- THAT FACE! These covers are all made of cutness!
ReplyDeleteYou need to read it - so cute!
DeleteWonderful list! I recently read Twelve Slays of Christmas and loved it!!
