This week's topic is Childhood Favorites and I feel like I'd just be sharing some of the same old books. You know the ones - Winnie the Pooh, Black Beauty, Snoopy, etc. And to be honest, I read a lot of adult books when I was ten or so which would make this topic a tad uncomfortable. So I'm going to switch it up. I like reading Middle Grade books from time and time and there are so many great ones out there that I want to share some I hope to read before the year is out!
The Trials of Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor #1) - Jessica Townsend
A Small Zombie Problems - K.G. Campbell #BlameStormi
The Haunting of Henry Davis - Kathryn Siebel #BlameStormi
The Storm: Dogs of the Drowned City - Dayna Lorentz
Survival Tales: The Titanic - Katrina Charman
Dragonwatch (Dragonwatch #1) - Brandon Mull
Katt vs. Dogg - James Patterson
The Night Gardener - Jonathan Auxier
The Last of the Spirits - Chris Priestley
The One and Only Ivan - Katherine Applegate
So there you have it. Have you read any of these? Let me know where you'd start!
I don't read as much Middle Grade, but every time I do I enjoy myself a lot. I'm always wanting to discover more good MG books, so I'm taking notes!

These books look like fun...especially A Small Zombie Problem. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing Nevermoor around a lot and once I get through all the middle grade books I already own (and still need to read), I think I'll pick it up next!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these but I've been in the mood for Middle Grade books lately so I might check them out! I hope you get to read them!
ReplyDeleteI have The One and Only Ivan on my tbr list. I have read a few Middle Grade books recently and enjoyed them. I should probably try to read them more often.
ReplyDeleteI've had The Night Gardener on my Kindle for a long long time because I didn't know it was a sequel when I bought it on sale. I need to put the first book on my Kindle wishlist, so I can check it for sale prices. 👍✨
ReplyDeleteThe Haunting of Henry Davis looks good. 👻
I still have to read The One and Only Ivan for my Newbery challenge. One of my friends was a fourth grade teacher for 30+ years and it was her favorite book to read to the class. 📚✨
I haven't read of these, but I think I would def start with the haunting of Henry Davies -- there is something abt the cover that just grabbed me right awya.
