Overall it's been a good week. I've been working from home some which has been good and the boys are doing well. We've managed to get a few more VA services linked for Gpa which I feel good about as well.
I've been getting a lot of reading done and at least COVID-19 has been good for my Goodreads challenge. We've watched a couple of movies but I have to admit, none of them have been overly great. We did enjoy Deep Sea 3 but you really can't go wrong with sharks. I miss movie releases!
So this week I'm sharing a few arcs I received. I'm excited for all of them. I'm also participating in Monsterathon next month so look forward to some spooky reviews.
So as you can see, I'm getting ready for some scary and thrilling reads. Hope you all are staying safe and thanks for visiting Booker T's Farm!
Yes, I look forward to your spooky reads as well, lol! I'm really torn about the Christopher Golden, as the premise sounds awesome, but it is also the third book of the Ben Walker sequence and I can't say I loved the first two...maybe third time will be the charm?

Yea, I've not read the other two but may dive in this winter. Looks like I may not have college football to keep me busy!
DeleteMonsterathon sounds awesome! And ooh a shark movie? I need more of those too haha.
ReplyDeleteGlad it was a good week. :)
It's a decent movie as well so I would recommend it.
DeleteI also got In the Garden of Spite, I'm so excited!!!
ReplyDeleteHope we both love it!
DeleteI miss movie releases, too! We used to go to the movies all the time, so this has been weird for us.
ReplyDeleteWe are definitely living in uncharted territory!
DeleteGlad you've had a good week. And those new titles you've got look interesting. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteI like being home and I'm still reading a lot. At first I had to adjust because I wasn't listening to as much audio as when I traveled in the car for errands. I am doing better but still have to remember to work it in while doing chores. It's too easy to sit in front of the computer all day.
ReplyDeleteI also got If I Disappear. I hope we enjoy it!
Anne - Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
I really don't mind being at home as we are pretty much homebodies anyway. I still haven't jumped on the audiobook bandwagon.
DeleteI really love all the spooky and then the romance...lol. :) I am curious about Dracula's Child so I will let you tell me if I should read it. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope it isn't too slow.
DeleteI'm missing movie releases, too. :(
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad.
DeleteOoooh! I love the cover of Red Hands!!
ReplyDeleteIt is what initially caught my attention.

Thanks Sherry!
DeleteI'm already starting my reviews for my 31 Days Of Thrills And Chills feature in October. A review every day is a lot and I have to get ahead with them. A couple of these look like good ones to include.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see all of your spooky reviews - and watch you systematically ruin my TBR :)
DeleteI've only just bought Deep Blue Sea 2 and 3 but I haven't watched them yet. I'm waiting for a shark mood to hit me where I can watch them both!
ReplyDeleteI actually liked the 3rd one better than the 2nd. Hope you enjoy them both!
DeleteI would definitely love a copy of In the Garden of Spite having loved You Let Me in.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
I need to read You Let Me In but so many of my favorite bloggers have enjoyed it - including you. So for me that's VERY promising.
DeleteI am happy to hear Grandpa is still holding his own and that the VA can help him. 💟
ReplyDeleteI love the cover off Dracula's Son. 👍✨
I plan on reading it in October. I think the cover is great too.
