Top Ten Tuesday - Books Titles That Would Make Great Song Titles

 

The top 10 weekly meme used to be hosted by The Broke and the Bookish they  handed over the reins to That Artsy Reader Girl who can be found HERE.  Each week she will focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading.

This week we are looking at book's which would make good song titles.  This might require some thought.

I used to listen to a lot of hair bands in the late 80's and I could totally see some group like Whitesnake singing a song called "Fangs."

She's got fangs,

but I love her so 

But when the moon is full, 

she knows I'll have to go...

Another band I love is Barenaked Ladies.  Some of their songs are so quirky.  That's why they'd be perfect to sing "The Tourist Attraction."

I can't fight this tourist attraction

even thought I always swore

that I'd never fall for some stupid tourist 

but Zoey-bear and those glasses she wore....

I think "Good Girls Lie" would be a perfect county song.  Maybe some female anthem by Carrie Underwood or Gabby Barrett.

I'm imagining "Heartless" being sung by Daughtry, whom I LOVE!

But maybe you'll love with save me

Even though I wanna hit you in the head.

They say I'm heartless....

"The Friend Zone" would be a great pop anthem.

You try to keep me in the friend zone

I don't know why you can't see

How much I truly love you

and that you're the guy for me.

So now you can fully see why I'll never be songwriter or a poet.  But I hoped you enjoyed my light-hearted take on Top Ten Tuesday this week!
