Top Ten Tuesday - Books I MIGHT Reread One Day

The top 10 weekly meme used to be hosted by The Broke and the Bookish they  handed over the reins to That Artsy Reader Girl who can be found HERE.  Each week she will focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading.

This week's topic is Books I Want to Read Again One Day.  I don't typically reread books but occasionally it happens (see, I just reread and posted a review for The Invisible Library earlier this week).  But I figured I could at least come up with five.

This is my favorite King book and I've read it at least twice already so I'd say chances are good I'll probably read it again.  My twisted little mind considers this a great read/watch during Christmas so chances are good I'll at least REWATCH the movie this month.

I don't read classics much but this is one I love.  I'll more than likely read it again eventually and once again, another I consider a perfect holiday read (just not this year).

I read this first 5 books in this series eons ago and I recall loving them so much.  I really would like ot start over one day and continue.

Another urban fantasy I loved but stopped reading after book #4. There is now a companion series and even if just because of Sam and the weather ponies, I can see a reread eventually.  I may even try to convince Stormi to buddy read the series eventually.

I really didn't mean for this to be an urban fantasy post but I read this in 2008 and then stopped.  I loved it and love Briggs in general so I want to read the entire series one day.  There's only 6 right now (well, the 6th comes out in 2021) so at least there aren't too many yet.

So there you have it.  I surprised even myself.  Have you read and enjoyed any of these?

  2. I'm still trying to get through my long list of new reads to even think about the books I'd like to reread. Maybe that can be one of my reading goals next year.

    1. I think that's my problem. So many new ones that I don't have time to reread a lot.

  3. I rarely re-read books either, but LITTLE WOMEN is one of my favorite all-time books. I've read it several times and will gladly read it again. Oh, and it's absolutely a holiday book!

    Happy TTT!

    1. Yes, especially when you've waited so long to continue - sometimes it's a necessity.

  5. I definitely wouldn't mind rereading the Fever series, the early ones were really good! Knowing what I do now though, I would probably stop after the first five and leave my positive memories intact this time :P

    1. I do think I actually read the Dani spin-off, which may have been #6, and finding it annoying so maybe that's what I quite. I do remember loving the first few though.

  6. I've reread Little Women. It was so interesting to me the difference between reading it when I was younger and reading it as an adult. I still loved it, but I connected with it so differently.

    1. I've never read any of the sequels or Little Men though. I do have a book on my shelves called Little Women and the Werewolves. Maybe I need to check that one out!

  7. I have a book in the Briggs series to catch up with next year before the new one comes out in paperback so that probably means winter 2022! Need to read three Mercy books to catch up with that series too.

  9. The Shining would make for such a great reread! I haven't looked at it since high school, but it really is the perfect winter book ... well, if you want a horrific read.
