This top 10 weekly meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and can be found HERE. Each week they focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading. This week I am sharing ten books which are on my Spring TBR - some new releases and some which have been lingering for some time.
This one is already out and I really have to find out how this part of the series finally ends.
I recently saw this one featured on Booktube and will be picking it up on the next trip to my library.
I already pre-ordered this one and I really want to read and review it for April as one of the few posts I am planning to commemorate Prince's passing in April last year.
Been planning on reading this one ever since I saw Stephen King mention how much he enjoyed it.
This is another one I've been wanting to read since I read a few reviews about it.
This one releases in April and is a must read!
Another new releases coming out this month which I want to make time for in April.
Got to add in some new Spring horror.
I'm dying to get my hands on this May release.
This is one of my favorite cozy mystery writers and you knew there had to be a book with a dog on this list somewhere.
So what books are on your Spring TBR?
Bad Unicorn looks different, haha. Looking forward to your thoughts on that one!
ReplyDeleteI saw someone on Booktube talking about it and even though it's middle grade, it sounded so unique I couldn't resist adding it.
DeleteOther than the Anne Bishop and Prince books, I haven't heard of the rest of these books! Naturally I'll keep my eye on your blog for any reviews you do of 'em to see what they are all about. Why do release dates always seem so far away when you really want to read something!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I swear we wish our lives away sometimes hoping books would hurry up and be released. I mean, it's not like we don't have plenty to read while waiting.
DeleteThat cover on Bad Unicorn! So awesome. I am interesting in the Priest book myself.
ReplyDeleteI love Cherie Priest and really enjoyed The Family Plot last year. Hope this one is just as good.
DeleteI wasn't crazy about You Will Know Me, but I recently read The Possessions and was pleasantly surprised by it! I picked it up on a whim, not knowing anything about it, and I really enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI've heard a few other people comment about The Possessions so I'm really looking forward to it.
DeleteI'm so excited for Brimstone too. I love Cherie Priest's work.
ReplyDeleteShe's awesome!
DeleteGreat list! I have Brimstone listed as well, and I'm really curious about the Black Witch. As usual, there are too many books I want to read and not enough time:-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that always the case?
DeleteBad Unicorn looks awesome! But then, so does the Prince book, and the scary books... I just want to read them all.
ReplyDeleteToo many books, not enough time. I know Bad Unicorn is an older book but I saw someone mention it on booktube and when I saw my library had a copy, I knew I'd have to read it eventually.
DeleteWell, only heard of like one or two of those...lol. I hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stormi!
DeleteI'm really hoping to read the entire The Others series soon - heard so many great things and now the final book is out I can binge-read :)
ReplyDeleteIt would be a great binge read. It's one of those series where I almost wish I hadn't started it yet so I could discover it all over again.
DeleteI really have to make time for that Megan Abbott too. I've loved everything she's written (that I've read!) and King's recommendation got me excited too. Hope you enjoy The Possessions!
ReplyDeleteYea, I mean really, when King says something is good, I think it's a safe bet for me to pick it up.
DeleteI'm really looking forward to reading more of The Others series. :)
ReplyDeleteLauren @ Always Me
It's an awesome series.
DeleteI really want to try Anne Bishop. I hear The Others series is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThey are. I can't say enough good things about that series.
DeleteArgh, I have GOT to read the second The Others book! I read the first one last fall and LOVED it, and other books have just been getting in the way of me continuing the series. I WILL read it this spring! (And maybe I'll get on a roll and just get all caught up!)
ReplyDeleteYep, now's a good time. She just released the last book but thank heavens, there's going to be a spin-off series.
DeleteI will be reading Etched in Bone soon I hope. I just grabbed About a Dog from First to Read this morning. How could I resist?
ReplyDeleteMe too! Of course you probably guessed that huh?
DeleteBad Unicorn- THAT looks fun! And I think You Will Know Me looks promising too. I haven't tried Megan Abbott yet...
ReplyDeleteThis will be my first read from her.
DeleteHope you enjoy Etched in Bone! Mormama and Brimstone are also a couple of horror/dark fantasy books I'd like to check out this spring. Cannot wait to get my hands on Brimstone especially!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I'm starting it in early April. Can't wait to see if I like it as much as The Family Plot.
DeleteI still haven't started Anne Bishop's series, whoops! Also hadn't heard about the new Megan Abbott, so I'm now very excited about that one.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to check out some of Abbott's older works. Seems like a lot of people like her.
DeleteSome good looking books there. I have the Abbott book on my Ipod and must check out that unicorn one!
ReplyDeleteI need to either grab a copy for my Kindle or else see if my library has a copy.
DeleteAny book in the Others series is a MUST! and so is anything that King likes ;-). I have read not so good reviews for the Black Witch though. :( I was interested in that one too :(
ReplyDeleteOh that's a bummer!
DeleteActually... HURRY to read the Black Witch!! I want to know what you think!!! There is such a turmoil in the blogosphere about this Book. Book bloggers are really upset about it!
