This week is a freebie topic related to Thanksgiving and being thankful. In the past I've done posts mentioning some of my favorite bloggers. I have since discovered a few more and will be adding them at the end of this list. I will also link the previous ones. However, I also want to make a list of things I'm thankful in general. So you get extra this week!
THINGS I'M THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR
1. A wonderful husband
2. The best pets in the world
3. Family - The ones I like...and that I've had the chance to get so close to my Gpa the past few years.
4. Bloggers - I've met so many wonderful people and I love interacting with you guys through comments, tweets, instagram etc. You guys are the greatest and I can always count on you to bring a smile to my face.
5. A job where I get to help people
6. An almost done kitchen
7. Blessings in disguise - although I was recently t-boned, through medical appointments I found an issue I was unaware of and can now address. Silver lining folks!
7. My Book BFF Stormi - we've spent endless hours messaging and chatting about books and life in general and I can't imagine her not in my life.
BLOGGERS I'M THANKFUL FOR
Katie @ Just Another Girl and her Books
Katie has some of the best book hauls ever and usually a lot of them she found on sale. Plus she host a great Christmas readathon in December.
AJ @ Read All the Things
I love the variety of posts AJ has and the different genres she reads. She is also a fellow dog-lover.
Lark @ Lark Writes...
Another great blogger who reads a variety of genres. She and I seem to read quite a few of the same things.
Jan @ Notes From a Readerholic
Jan has great taste in books and reads a lot of the books I'm interested in. She recently had surgery and I'm really hoping she is feeling better this Thanksgiving.
Mary @ Stacking My Bookshelves
I just discovered Mary earlier this year but she is already one of my faves?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week and a wonderful Thanksgiving. - Katie
Yep, I need to do my post. I'm running behind this month!
DeleteWhat a great list. My husband and dogs would top my list too (I guess I would have to throw my kids in there somewhere as well). I am glad to hear that you were able to discover your medical issue. You are right in that there is usually a silver lining if you look for it.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm sure you must add the kids in right?
DeleteSo many blessings! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Barb!
ReplyDeleteThanks Angela.
DeleteGreat list, it's nice to stop and appreciate what we have, it's easy to forget. Have a happy Thanksgiving, and hope your dogs get some turkey๐
ReplyDeleteYay for turkey!
DeleteHope you have a great Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteWe did Jo. Hope you did too!
DeleteI'm thankful that I don't need to live out on the streets at this time of year. It is freezing today and I was only out this afternoon for twenty minutes. I have a warm house and big duvet that I'm very grateful for plus food to eat and my dad for company.
ReplyDeleteYes, I wish my Dad was still here. There's always an empty spot in my heart each holiday.
Deleteyay I found myself in one of the appreciation post. well with my other identity LOL LOVED LOVED LOVED reading it again! It was a lovely note THANK YOU. I'm so happy for everything you have to be grateful for! I'm thankful you are my bookish friend :)
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family had a great one too!

ReplyDeleteThanks Erica. And just think, it's your first "married" Thanksgiving!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving Barb! I hope you and your hubby, and the doggies have a wonderful holiday (PS, I'm thankful you've given me a new appreciation for covers and books with dogs on them <3)
ReplyDeleteYou can count on me for dog covers!
DeleteI hope you and the hubs had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Yay for grandpa! Now as I'm getting older I have a better appreciation for spending time with older family members. I am hoping the younger members of my family will want to spend time with me, too, ha ha. ๐✨
ReplyDeleteI hope whatever was found during your medical appointments gets resolved. Sending good energies. ๐
Here's to the book community. Cheers! ๐๐๐
Yes, it does become more about family as we get older I think. And yes, cheers to the book community (should you bring the wine or me?)
