February 2018 Monthly Wrap Up

So during the month of February I managed to read 8 novels.  Not as good as last month but there were no novellas or graphic novels thrown in so I'm still pretty happy.  Although I have to admit it looks like it was kind of a "meh" month because I had more 3/5 reads than usual.  Here's the breakdown:

The Cruel Prince: Holly Black 3/5
The Doggist Puppies: Elias Weiss Friedman 5/5
Pawprints & Predicaments: Bethany Blake 5/5
Smoke City: Keith Rosson 4/5
The Ghost Notebooks: Ben Dolnick 3/5
The Love of a Lab: Jim Dratfield 5/5
The Plot is Murder: V.M. Burns 3/5
Elvis and the Tropical Double Trouble: Peggy Webb 3/5

My favorite read was definitely Pawprints & Predicaments and I need the next installment NOW!  My least favorite was probably The Plot is Murder - that darn book within a book did me in.

What was your favorite read this month?

  1. Even though you had some three star reviews, you still had a few 5 star reads, which is better than I had! Happy reading in March!

    1. I don't consider 3/5 bad, it's just I expected more from one or two of them.

  3. Great job on all the books. I only read 7 this month but that is about normal for me. Hopefully, March will be full of awesome books for you.

  6. 8 novels is still pretty good Barb! I went back a few posts to see if I had missed your review of Cruel Prince! Couldn't find it! I hope you post a review if you haven't yet! So want to know what you thought of it!

  8. 8 books is awesome! I think I managed 5 including a kid book. :) My favorite for the month (and possibly the year for me!) was Bird Box.
