Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews.
I can't seem to stay away from the library, but in my defense, I had a hold that needed to be picked up. Also, I did purchase a few additional books, received a couple for review and picked up some free titles for my Kindle. Anyway, I guess here is another haul.
From the library:
Seconds: A Graphic Novel: Bryan Lee O'Malley - Quite a few booktube channels I follow have mentioned this and I have heard good things so when I saw it at the library, I grabbed it.
The Supernatural Enhancements:Edgar Cantero - This is the book that prompted the library trip. Haunted house, dark, gothic - some of my favorite buzz words. Not to mention, isn't that cover beautiful?
The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone: Adele Griffin - A fairly new YA release that I had my eye on, but didn't really want to purchase.
On my Kindle:
The Invisible Man: H.G. Wells - I couldn't resist this one. I have always found it intriguing.
Relative Strangers: A Modern Vampire Story: Helen Treharne - This one was also free and sounded interesting so I snagged it while I could rather than risk wanting it later after I thought about it and it no longer being free.
The Color of Magic (Discworld #1): Terry Pratchett - I want to give this series a go this year so I picked this up on Kindle when it was marked down earlier this week.
Hard copies purchased from various sources:
Delia's Shadow (Delia Martin #1): Jamie Lee Moyer
A Barricade in Hell (Delia Martin #2): Jamie Lee Moyer
I Thought You Were Dead: Pete Nelson - It has dog, I couldn't resist.
Dogs: A Very Peculiar History: Fiona McDonald - This cute little book is gorgeous in person.
From Netgalley for review:
The Thorn of Dentonhill - A Novel of Maradaine: Marshall Ryan Maresca
Every Breath You Take (Jensen Murphy, Ghost for Hire #3): Chris Marie Green
The Diamond Conspiracy (Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences #4): Pip Ballantine, Tee Morrie
And the most exciting eARC in ages, maybe even ever:
Vision in Silver (The Others #3): Anne Bishop - I can't explain how much I love this series. The second installment was one of my top 5 of 2014. It comes out March 3rd and I can't wait to read and review it for everyone. Thanks PENGUIN GROUP BERKLEY!
Leave me a comment if you have read any of these or are excited for any of these new releases!

I really thought that the Discworld series sounded good but I just didn't take to it at all. I found I just didn't like anything about it or find it funny. I really hope you have better luck with it! Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy them all. I really enjoyed Delia's Shadow and the sequel. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of those, but I want to read the Invisible Man, and try Terry Pratchett. I feel your pain about the library, it's so hard to get a reserved book and not look at everything else!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Addlepates and Book Nerds! :-)
Awesome books you have here! :) And some of them I added on my tbr too. Happy reading and hope you'll enjoy them all.
