TTT - 10 Books I'd Buy Right This Second!

This top 10 weekly meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and can be found HERE.  Each week they focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading.  This week I am showing you the 10 books I'd buy right this second if someone handed me a fully loaded gift card.  Come on, only 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Fireman - Joe Hill.  I really want a hardback of this one and right now, it's rather pricey so this would definitely be my first grab.

They Only Come Out at Night - Benedict Patrick.  I saw this one last week and that cover!  I will end up getting this one soon gift card or no gift card.

The House Between Tides - Sarah Maine.  It's described as ".....gothic....." That's basically all I need.

The ENTIRE Dark Tower series - Stephen King.  Yep, I'm cheating.  Ever since I learned Idris Elba is going to be in next year's movie, I've decided it's about time I read this series.  And with a gift card, I could buy them all at once. Like I said - I'm cheating.

The Big Sheep - Robert Kroese.  I saw a review of this over at Bibliosanctum a few weeks ago and now I'm dying to read it but my library doesn't have it yet.

The Killing Trail - Margaret Mizushima.  I'm really excited to start this series soon and with a free gift card, why wait????

Dead Shift - John Llewellyn Probert. TENTACLES...must buy book with tentacles!

My Favorite Manson Girl - Alison Umminger.  What can I say, cults fascinate me so this one had me at "Manson."

Smoke - Dan Vyleta.  Another one my library doesn't have and which I am probably going to have to buy if I ever want to read it.

Poison City - Paul Crilley.  This would be a preorder since it doesn't come out until next week but I think I'm going to have to track it down from Book Depository so with a gift card, I'd definitely snatch it.

So what is on your list this week.  Sit back and watch my TBR grow!!!!

  1. The covers of some of these are super-intriguing and I'll look forward to your reviews whenever they make it to the top of your to-read list! :) Besides "The Fireman," "Smoke" is the only book on your list that I've heard of and I'd like to read it too!

  3. With the exception of SK and JH's books I haven't heard of any of those other ones. :) I didn't know they were making a Dark Tower series, maybe I should try those as I have the first two or three on my shelf. :) (Though I must admit I don't know who the person is that you are excited to see in the movie.) :)

  4. So many great books! Smoke does look good, and I will eventually buy it. Loved The Fireman. And I love the DT series, although the first book took me a few tries to get through, the second book in the series- the Drawing of the Three- is one of my favorite King books.
