This week we are looking at our winter's TBR. These posts are always dangerous because when blog hopping, my wishlist then grows and grows.
Stormi and I are buddy reading this one this month. I'm both excited and afraid because I loved the first one so much!
I'm definitely looking forward to more Kai.
Doesn't this look like the perfect winter read? Winter horror anyone???
You guys know how much I love this series. And doesn't the cover look a tad bit winterish?
I need to make time for this one, especially since I preordered it this year.
Time is running out on this one. I WILL get it read soon.
I'm determined to give Sager a second try.
Okay, so I just stumbled on this one. Where has this short story from Tor.com been hiding from me?
Will this finally be the Tudor book I like? We will see.
So I've never read a Colleen Hoover book, and never even planned to. But then she goes and writes one with a supernatural twist and I'm all over it. I don't have high expectations though. Sometimes it's good to read out of your comfort zone right?
So there you have it. Have you read any of these and are there any I need to cross off the list????
I just put a hold on Layla at my library, I have high hopes!
ReplyDeleteIt will be my first Hoover read and you reminded me, I need to go place a hold as well.
DeleteI think I need to pick The Tourist Attraction! I've been in a mega fluff mood and that seems to fit the bill. Also, I've been putting off the new King because of said fluff mood but I really need to see about making that happen. Happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the perfect read for you then and I just finished the sequel and loved it too!
DeleteI love that you're giving two really popular authors "another try" lol. Now I'm curious, as I haven't read either one of them😁
ReplyDeleteYou need to read them because I'm curious about your thoughts.
DeleteI haven't read If It Bleeds yet either. Hope you like it!
ReplyDeleteMy post.
I'm hit or miss on King's short stories so we'll see.
DeleteSo many good books to read before the end of the year. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWell I'll be glad if I just read them before winter is over - at least that gives me two more months!
DeleteI love the look of the Raybourn books. And yeah reading outside our comfort zone- I've found some good books that way, even though I don't always do it. :)
ReplyDeleteYea, sometimes doing that can come back to bite you.
DeleteAN UNEXPECTED PERIL is on my list today, too! I love the Veronica Speedwell series - it's just so fun. And the cover definitely has a wintry vibe.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
It is a great series and I've really missed Stoker. I'll be picking it up as a buddy read in January.
DeleteI definitely want to read some more Stephen King in 2021. I will be looking out for your review. 📚
ReplyDeleteI DMed you on Twitter. 🐾
I need to catch up on some of King's back titles. I still haven't read the Bill Hodges trilogy.
DeleteLOL I have many of the scary ones to read too!
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't surprise me. We do love our scary books!
DeleteHome Before Dark is one I need to read soon too. I've had it sitting on my shelf for a while now. I hope you're able to get to all of these and that they're great reads for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Suzanne and I hope we both love Home Before Dark.
DeleteI agree, blog hopping it very dangerous for my TBRtoo! I also need that short story from Tor -- that cover and that name!
ReplyDeleteI got a GC for Christmas so I may be grabbing it soon!
DeleteYes to winter horror especially if there are snowstorms! I WANT to be reading horror this winter but I just can't stir myself to pick up any book!
ReplyDeleteYes there needs to be more snowstorm books!
DeleteIf It Bleeds and Secret Santa are both on my list as well! I'm hoping to get to Secret Santa next week! :) Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't make it to that one before Christmas but I'm not giving up yet.
DeleteI need to get back to the Veronica Speedwell books.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorite series.
DeleteI'd like to read the stephen King book and also the CJ Tudor - perhaps this will be the one that works for you :D
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
I keep hoping so!
