October TBR(P) - No "Skeletal" bones about it!
I love October and Fall and Halloween and Spooky Stories and Scary Movies....OK, I am sure you get the picture. Below are some of the books I would really like to get to this month. I am sure I am being overly ambitious, but oh well.
Pretty much all of these are horror/thriller books except for House Trained. This releases in October and Jackie Bouchard, the author, is quickly becoming one of my faves so I want to get it read. I have always wanted to read Something Wicked This Way Comes and have decided this is the month to do it. I am sure After Alice is probably not scary, but I still think it will be a good October read.
What are your plans of October? Do you love this time of year as much as I do?

Oh, what a CUTE and funny picture you have at the top of your post! It's great!!
ReplyDeleteI love the month of October, too, except that I don't like the horror genre. So I read paranormal romance and urban fantasy, instead. Well, I do read those genres year-round, anyway. However, when the month of December rolls around, then I gravitate more toward Christmas romance novels.
The group of books you have sure looks scary enough! Except, of course, for "House Trained". You know, these books would be just perfect for a Halloween reading challenge I've just discovered, at the blog READING EVERY SEASON. I recently joined the challenge myself. If you're interested, I'm leaving the link below. You can also check out my own post for the challenge, if you like.

Happy October!! : )
So nice to see my book there! :) I hope you'll enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to read SWTWC too. I got the chance to see Ray Bradbury speak at the LA Book Fair a few years back and he was AMAZING! I had no idea but he talked about that book there - he wrote it as a possible film story for Gene Kelly! Isn't that wild? Gene Kelly loved it and really wanted to do a movie of it, but the studio wouldn't go for it. Maybe I'll try to read that this month too!
