I had to go back to the library and pick up another hold and again, more books came home with me than just the one. However, I had finished reading Locke and Key Vol. 5 and since someone else had requested it, I was able to turn it back in. No need for them to wait if I am already done.
Harley Quinn Vol. 2 was on hold so now I have Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 which I can marathon when I feel like doing so. I have wanted to read Silver in Blood since it was released. I seriously am questioning whether I feel like giving The Drafter a go right now, but it was on the new shelf so I grabbed it. I really didn't enjoy the prequel novella. Finally, I have heard great things about The Wicked and the Divine graphic novel so I couldn't resist.
I also received a few physical ARCs in the mail this week and I want to thank the authors and publishers who sent them my way!
I received House Trained and The Admission from Booksparks for upcoming blog tours. Be sure to check out the review of House Trained on 10/19 from me and Booker T! Smith Publishing sent me Monsterland, which I hope to delve into this weekend and Brandy Purdy sent me a wonderful finished copy of The Ripper's Wife.
What did you guys get this week? I have been playing around with some graphic so I will leave you with some pics of the pups. Enjoy your weekend and leave me a comment so I can make sure to check out your haul!
Your ARCs look interesting. I'll be reading The Admissions too. Happy reading ;-)
ReplyDeleteOOH I want Monsterland RIGHT NOW! It's got all of my favourite things in it and I am adding that to my wishlist! The cover looks awesome in that Jurassic Park gate kind of way! *whimpers*
ReplyDeleteMonsterland looks great, I want it! :) Going to go look that one up. Have a great week!

Oh, I really want to read Silver in Blood and The Drafter!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! Happy Reading!!
Doggies! I seriously love my library. I'm actually using my new town's library AND the library back home since I'm there every other weekend, and probably have 50 things checked out between the two of them. It's free. And full of books. What's not to love? Monsterland looks intriguing. I've not heard of that one. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul, Barb! I'm very much interested in "Silver in the Blood", "The Drafter", and "The Ripper's Wife". I have added them to my Goodreads shelves.
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are SO adorable! You must get a lot of happiness from them! Animals are such a treasure.....they love you unconditionally, and are so trusting, too. I'm more of a horse person. Sadly, I don't have one..... I have loved them all my life, though.
Thanks for commenting on my STS post! Have a great reading week!! : )
This happens to me when I go to the library! Even though I have a ton of books at home I end up taking a whole bunch of the them home.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of the Ripper's Wife, I hope it's good
I've seen Silver in the Blood around a lot but have such little idea about what it is about. The cover looks great though.
ReplyDeleteCute pics of the pups. :)
