Waiting on Wednesday (67)

"Waiting on" Wednesday" is weekly meme hosted over at Breaking the Spine which spotlights upcoming anticipated releases.

October 25, 2016

FROM GOODREADS: Ravaged by the Nazi Secret Service during World War II, Romanian resistance forces turn to one of their leaders, Professor Van Helsing for any way out. To fight these monstrous forces, Van Helsing raises a legendary monster from centuries of slumber... Prince Dracula himself.

Once he was the ruler of Transylvania. Prince Vlad Dracul, is, above all else, a patriot. He proves more than willing to once again drive out his country’s invaders. Upshot: No one minds if he drinks all the German blood he desires.

In Berlin, when Hitler hears about the many defeats his forces are suffering at the hands of an apparent true vampire, he is seduced by the possibility of becoming immortal. Thus two forces are set upon a collision course, the ultimate confrontation: Superpower against superpower.

WHY I
'M WAITING:  I honestly can't tell you exactly why this appeals to me, but I have to admit that ever since I saw it on another blog, I've been intrigued.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR THIS WEEK????

  9. That does sound intriguing - but do you think it has some dark humor? If so, I might like it. If it takes itself too seriously though.... I'm not sure I could get into that one. Look forward to hearing what you think once you get a hold of it!

  11. Yes! When I got a copy of this book, I was like, is this for real? I'm glad it's getting a lot of interest though, when I featured this book in a stacking the shelves post, I think it was the one that got the most attention because people were just like, "This sounds WHOA!" :)
