TTT - Books Santa Paws Better Leave Beneath My Tree!

This top 10 weekly meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and can be found HERE.  Each week they focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading.  This week focuses on book or bookish things we'd like for Christmas. Since Mr. Barb always asks for a list, this one should be pretty simple (I always give him plenty to chose from so it's still a surprise).

Lost Gods - Brom.  I'm really interested to see what this is all about and I think Brom's books are better enjoyed in physical form.

Illuminae - Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.  Another book I just knew I'd want to read in physical form so on the list it went.

You can never go wrong with an Amazon gift card.

Heartless - Marissa Meyer.  Had to jump on the bandwagon and ask for this one too.

Gone and Done It (Dreamwalker #1) - Maggie Toussaint.  My COYER Secret Santa already took care of this one - THANKS AGAIN!

The Fireman - Joe Hill.  I'm sort of neurotic about collecting Stephen King and Joe Hill books in hardback.

Truly, Madly, Guilt - Liane Moriarty.  I'm really interested to check this one out for some reason.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Illustrated - I NEED this one to sit beside my first one.

Breaking Creed (#1) - Alex Kava.  Someone recommended this series to me and when I saw it involved a
k-9 search and rescue and his dogs I have to give it a try.

Silent Creed (#2) - Alex Kava.  See above explanation and DOGS!

So that's a lot of the books on my list. Like I said, I like to give people plenty to chose from and will be happy with whatever Santa Paws decided to leave me under the tree,

So what do you hope to find under your tree???

  1. D'awww! I love the dog picture at the bottom of your post! I think I'm going to have to read "Heartless" soon. I don't really care for "Alice in Wonderland" OR young adult, but there's just something about it...

I hope Santa Paws leaves all these books under your tree! :)

  2. I hope Santa Paws is very good to all of you this year. I'm sure Booker T and Cass have been very good! I'm curious about The Fireman as lots of people are comparing it to The Stand which I loved so I'll get that at some point. And yes to Amazon gift cards!

  4. I would actually love the illustrated HP books as well. I never do this list because I have so many unread books in my house, I just can't think of any that I desperately need. But I hope you get some of the things on your wishlist!

  6. I also need the illustrated Harry Potter's! I checked them out from the library just to look at them but they're definitely a need to own. :)

  11. Brom! I love some of his art. I agree about gift cards! And Truly Madly Guilty I liked- not as much as Big Little Lies but I basically like anything she writes.

  12. Totally agreed that Illuminae is a book good to have in physical form. I heard that a lot of diagrams, pictures, photos, extras, etc. didn't make it into the digital formats, so hard copy is the way to go if you don't want to miss anything. It really is a work of art.

  15. Dang, I totally should have thought of The Fireman! I have a lot of Joe Hill's releases (most of which I haven't read yet, oops!) but that one just looks so good...

  16. You're smart to give your Mister a detailed Christmas list! I always blank when mine asks what I want for gifts.

I couldn't wait for Santa to bring me HEARTLESS, so I bought it when it came out. Still haven't actually READ it, of course. I love Liane Moriarty, but TRULY, MADLY, GUILTY wasn't my fave. Oh, and those HP illustrated books - gorgeous! I bought SORCERER'S STONE for my daughter last year and it's a beauty.

Thanks for stopping by my TTT. Have a wonderful holiday!
