This top 10 weekly meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and can be found HERE. Each week they focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading. This week I am focusing on 2017 debut titles I really want to get my hands on sooner rather than later.

I actually found this kind of hard to do. I'm not really good at keeping up with debut authors in some of my favorite genre and most of the lists I found on the internet were primarily YA (which I like but I wanted to mix it up some).
I'm sure I'll find lots of new books when I visit blogs so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's lists.

Borrowed Souls is one of those books I'm not sure about in case the romance dominates the plot. I might need to check out some reviews before I decide on that one!
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you posted on that one. I've seen quite a few people interested in it on blogs I trust so hopefully it turns out to be pretty good.
DeleteI found this too hard and gave up LOL! My list is books that are releasing in 2017 that I want to read. Forget the debut part :P You did great though and now I'm looking these books up to see if I want to read them too! A Couple look really up my alley! Happy Tuesday :)
ReplyDeleteThis was a hard topic to do. I found plenty of YA debut lists, but few adults and I wanted a good mixture of both. Hope you found something that interests you!
DeleteLove your list, Barb. I completely forgot about some of these on my list! The Disappearances just got added, it sounds really good!
ReplyDeleteYea, I don't remember where I first saw The Disappearances but it immediately caught my attention as well.
DeleteTo Catch a Killer and Rabbit Cake are totally going on my Track Down and Read Them list!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't resist adding Rabbit Cake - the cover really caught my attention. Glad I could return the enabling!
DeleteI am the same way I don't keep up with debuts, if I find a book I like and it's a debut, then cool if not that is cool too...lol. I see a couple on here I must put on my list though! :)
ReplyDelete#barbmademedoit at work!
DeleteFantastic list! I'm also really looking forward to WIntersong, The Hate U Give, You Know My Name, and To Catch A Killer. These all sound SO GOOD!!
ReplyDeleteI only stumbled across The Hate U Give a few weeks ago. It seems to be getting a lot of hype but somehow it passed me by.
DeleteThe Hate U Give is so high on my list! Some of the others on here are new to me so I have to check them out - Great list!!
ReplyDeleteGlad I shared a few that were new to you!
DeleteWintersong looks so good, and I LOVE that cover of Song of the Current. Just saw it today hopping through the meme. To Catch a Killer too- what is it with me and covers where people are running lol?
ReplyDeleteThere certainly seems to be enough covers like that lately so you do have quite a few to fall in love with if you want:)
DeleteI also had a hard time with this post! Mostly because I'm so leery about new authors... I like to most often stick with my tried and true bunch.
ReplyDeleteI know, it was hard right?
DeleteGreat list! I'm also excited for the Hate U Give!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my TTT!

I know, I hadn't seen it before a few weeks ago and now I'm seeing it EVERYWHERE!
DeleteThe Disappearances looks good and creepy. A couple others caught my eye too. I knew I shouldn't look at your post. I already have several books on my Amazon wish list waiting for next months budget to roll around. LOL
ReplyDeleteI always have an Amazon list ready to roll around for a new month's budget. Glad I'm not the only one.
DeleteI think that this would be a really hard list to come up with. I don't usually get too excited about debut authors until I read their work...then I get excited. Some of these do look promising! Great list!
ReplyDeleteI have my tried and true authors and when I'm really interested in a book, I'll admit, it doesn't really make much difference if it is a debut or not.
