Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews. Clicking on the book (or title) should take you to the Goodreads page.
This week I snagged a few free books from Amazon and also grabbed a few which were on sale. Please check before purchase because I have no idea of the current price status. You can see I went on a horror binge with "Demon" which I think sounds awesome, "The Hand That Feeds" which is about a creepy little kid, and "809 Jacob Street" where I couldn't resist the cover.
I also bought these three and I'm pretty sure they were all under $3.00. I couldn't resist "The Haunted Forest Tour" and please don't tell Booker T and Cass that I bought "Pick Your Potion" and "Black Cat Crossing." He wouldn't understand the cat thing :)
And finally some approvals came in from Netgalley. I am SUPER excited for "Mormoma" as well as "Girl in Disguise," I had forgotten all about "Follow Me Down" since I think I actually requested it months ago and I couldn't resist the cover of "All the Galaxies,"
So pretty much it was a horror filled week. What did you add to your shelves this week??? Have you read any of these already???
Looks like you had a great week in books. Congrats on your approvals too! My Shelf
ReplyDeleteThanks Eve.
DeleteAre you asking Auntie Chuckles to LIE to poor Booker T? Hmmm? Shame on you with the cat thing! I love the cover for the Haunted Forest Tour...that is creepy...
ReplyDeleteI guess a lie of omission is still a lie huh? Booker T MIGHT forgive me :) I adore that cover too!
DeleteThe Haunted Forest Tour sounds good, I love the cover! I was tempted by Mormama but I'm so behind as it is I just couldnt. I'll look forward to your review instead!
ReplyDeleteI was thrilled to get approved for it and hope it really is good. It's under 300 pages and I was expecting it to be longer so maybe I can get it read more quickly.
DeleteThose first three books look pretty creepy!
ReplyDeleteMy STS
Don't they? I love creepy.
DeleteGreat haul, I put a couple of those horror novels on my wishlist. :)
ReplyDeleteCool. I see another #barbmademedoit post in the future.
DeleteYour haul looks great. The horror books are new to me. I hope you love all of them.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love
Me too Grace. I have high hopes.
DeleteNice haul! Girl in Disguise looks awesome! I hope you'll enjoy all the books you got! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI've heard some good things about it but for some reason when I look at it, my mind keeps thinking Girl on a Train.
DeleteWoo! What fabulous looking books. I hope that you enjoy them all. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks tons for stopping by.
DeleteMy dogs are cat sized. They wouldn't care if I read about the darn creatures as long as I was rubbing their ears while I do it.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs each are 110+ but still like to lay all over me so I honestly doubt they care too much either.
DeleteGreat haul this week! I don't even remember seeing the books you got from NetGalley before. Enjoy all of these!
ReplyDeleteOn the good side, I'm glad I discovered them...on the bad side, so much for the TBR.
DeleteSo many new lovely books! I hope you enjoy them :) Happy reading!

Thanks Brittany.
DeleteThat's a great haul of horror books! I'm so curious about Mormama. Very tempted to check it out, though I'm hesitating because I read the author's book Where last year and it was very weird, so I think I'll wait for some reviews before deciding.
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I've not read that author before so we will see....
DeleteI broke down and requested The Haunted Forest too! How could I resist the blurb and cover. LOL That's my excuse, anyway! Funny you nabbed The Hand That Feeds. It's been on my Kindle and I finally started it this week.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Great. That cover is awesome too. Looking forward to your thoughts on The Hand that Feeds.
DeleteThat's an epic horror book haul! I used to love scary books but I seemed to have gone full throttle on fantasy lately. The Hand That Feeds looks super creepy!
ReplyDeleteI love fantasy too but always glad to have a horror fix!
DeleteCan't wait to see what you think of Mormoma!!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my most anticipated this year so I'm thrilled too.
DeleteI loved Black Cat Crossing. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteGood. I've wanted to read it for some time so when I saw it on sale, I had to grab it!
DeleteBlack Cat Crossing and Girl in disguise both look good to me. :)
ReplyDeleteI checked out Black Cat Crossing once from the library but never got to it so when I saw it on sale, I figured "Why not?"
DeleteGreat haul! I haven't read any of these, but I hope you enjoy them!! Thanks for stopping by my STS!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting as well!
DeleteWhat is The Haunted Forest Tour?? I need that one!
