TTT - Books I Pretty Much Devoured in 2 Days or Less

This top 10 weekly meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and can be found HERE.  Each week they focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading. Today I'm sharing with you books I devoured (or basically read really quickly because I thought they were so good).

Don't think I need to say more.  This was the first book I read in 2017 and by far it's one of the best.

I don't read a lot of biographies but I have picked them up from time to time. I read this in 2012 because Ice T is my favorite character on Law & Order: SVU.  Such a engrossing read.

I love this entire series and have found all of them really fast reads.  I wish there were more books scheduled.

This book is so hilarious and fun I think I read it in one afternoon.

I think because this is told in emails, it made it fly by really quickly.

I always fly through Lucy Dillon's books and this one was no exception.  Plus, I love any excuse to show this cover.

This book is awesome - pun intended!  Plus the author is also Hillary Monahan who writes other horror titles as well as this one.

Ok so technically this is a novella and it's easier to read it all in one sitting but I think I would have even if it had been longer - and oh I wish it had been longer.

One of my favorite books of last year.  It's so fast paced and I loved it so much that I couldn't put it down.

I loved this series and found all of the books really quick reads.  I kept waiting for the next installment to be released but it kept getting pushed back and I finally gave up.  Not sure what happened to the author or this series so if anyone knows, please clue me in.

    2. I know, I love Ice T. I think he's great in the new lemonade commercial that's running on TV - I think it's actually an insurance add.

  4. I really need to re borrow Certain Dark Things. I had it, then got distracted by new shiny things.

You may be the first Keven J Anderson fan I have seen in a long time. I am not myself but read several of his books years back when he did the Star Wars thing.

    1. I know all too well the attraction of new shiny things - you definitely need to give it a go. This is really the only Anderson series I read but I have loved them all.

  5. You have some good books on this list, some I've read and some I want to read. Every Heart is of course a favorite of mine, and Certain Dark Things. I thought Roomies was really cute. And I'd love to find time for Hyperbole and a Half:-)

    1. I forget where I first saw Roomies but I had to grab a copy from my library. Every once in a while I need to read something lighter and it fit the bill at that time.

  8. I don't read many celebrity memoirs either, so it is cool to see you have Ice-T's memoir on your list... I didn't even know he had a memoir out. I may just go ahead and read it.

    1. I think it's several years old but it was really interesting learning more about him. My husband remembers him from back in the rap days and it's kind of cool to see how he has mellowed over the years but still remains badass!

  9. Ooh Hyperbole and a Half. I really want to read that! And I've read a Mira Grant novella about killer mermaids (Rolling in the Deep) which was kinda freaky but I haven't tried her other ones yet...

  12. Nice, I think I also "devoured" Certain Dark Things in less than two days, but that's in quotes because I listened to the audio. That usually makes breezing through books easier, but that said, it was a fantastic book too ;)
