BLOGGER SHAME REVIEW CHALLENGE: 2/12
I had 1 DNF, 2 3-paw reads, 5 4-paw reads, and 1 5-paw read. My faves were The Well, Downward Dog and Wytches.
So overall I'm OK with where my challenges stand. Some could be better but hey, I'm having fun! How are your challenges going???
Looks like you're dong good on your challenges. Too bad about the DNFs. I'm haunted when I don't finish a book.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
I am too and I STILL wish I had finished it even though I'm pretty much resigned to not picking it up again.
DeleteYou are doing really good. I have no clue how many books I read in May, it was kind of a blur and with being in the Philippines I don't have my book that has my count...lol. Maybe at the end of June I can do a May/June reads...lol.
ReplyDeleteYea I bet it's been hard to track with traveling and everything. I know how excited you are to come back home so I hope it comes quickly for you!
DeleteLOL I had the same thought on May. It doesn't feel like it could be June quite yet. ::snort:: on your Goodreads challenge. It's nice to meet it even if momentarily. I'd totally be reading a novella or two to get ahead :D
ReplyDeleteAnd a PS
Stopping by for the #GetSocial event kick off :) A heads up-- I had a blip with the sign up linky (it didn't request email info from anyone so I couldn't send yall the kick off post ) so stopping by with the link which has the official linky list everyone can use to visit all the blogs :) Hope you meet some fun new friends during the event! Thanks for the update. I knew I had signed up but couldn't remember all the details. I'm already doing some visiting and having lots of fun!
Delete9 books, that is not bad. You are doing pretty well with your challenges. I hope June will fare better.

Totally Addicted to Reading
Thanks for stopping by Nadene and welcome to The Farm.
DeleteMay went so fast for me too, and I'm not going to count how many books I read because it feels like a "lost" month, lol. I was also on track with Goodreads for a day or so, but then got behind. What the heck?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what's worse. Getting and staying behind but catching up and only doing so for a fleeting moment. You had so much going on in May that I'm sure whatever you managed to read was a great accomplishment.
DeleteMay did seem to go by fast this year. I didn't read as much last month as I already have this month. #getsocial17
ReplyDeleteAt least June seems like it's starting off well. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteIt looks like you're doing great on your challenges. I agree, it seems like May went by in a flash. It's hard to believe it's June already.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the #getsocial17 blog hop! It's nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you too Jackie and thanks for stopping by!
DeleteSome months are like that, I'll never forget this May as I got to go to Cancun to walk my little girl (of 37) down the aisle. It was a FAB trip!
ReplyDelete#getsocial17
Oh that sounds like so much fun. Bet Cancun was great!
DeleteI feel like that more and more, and am lucky if I remember what happened yesterday. (lol) You did a really good job on your challenges! Happy to meet you! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and nice to meet you too!
DeleteIt looks like you're doing a great job with your challenges so far this year... I have a couple that I'm missing on personally.
ReplyDeleteThough I'm a regular reader, I'm also stopping by today for #getsocial17!
Thanks. I wish I was doing better with Blogger Shame Challenge and need to work on it some more. Thanks for being a regular visitor at The Farm.
DeleteNo challenges for me, cos I always forget about them ;) But you did well
ReplyDeleteSometimes keeping track of them is one of the hardest parts and at times it does get the best of me!
DeleteI know how you feel. The month of May has gone by and I did well on my reading, but now that summer is hear and school is out I won't be doing much reading except for re-reads. ^_^ I've got several challenges I working on this year and so far so good. ^_^ Have a great month of June and Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from the #getsocial17 event.
I don't do many re-reads. I feel there are too many books I want to get to that are unread. I do hope to re-read Menagerie and It this summer at some point. Hope you enjoy your summer.
DeleteDon't worry, the other day I couldn't even remember if I had read a certain book in 2016 or 2017, let alone what month lol.
ReplyDeleteI've had moments like that!
DeleteGah! May went by so fast. I can't believe it's the middle of the year already. Hi from Deanna's World. Glad to visit as part of the #getsocial17 event.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Deanna. It's great meeting lots of new faces.
DeleteI'm with everyone else - May went by too freaking fast. Good work on your challenges. I'm stopping by as part of #getsocial2017 from http://bambi-unbridled.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
DeleteMay really did seem to fly by. But so has the rest of the year. How is it June??
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Wish we could slow things down just a tad.
DeleteMay seems to have taken us all out of our reading challenges!

That's for sure. Lots of people struggled with May. I think if people have kids in school, there is so much going on that everyone stays busy!
DeleteSounds like a pretty good reading month! I feel like I did fairly well in May. I'm not sure on the exact number!

Overall I'm not disappointed. There are just always more books I want to get to.
DeleteI don't have a reading challenge at the moment unless you count the promise I made to myself to actually read all the 'forgotten' books on my kindle! #getsocial17
ReplyDeletehttp://www.sunnybuzzybooks.co.uk
I like that promise. I should probably follow your lead.
DeleteDon't worry, the other day I couldn't even remember if I had read a certain book in 2016 or 2017, let alone what month lol.

ReplyDeleteMay kind of flew by didn't it? Having fun is all that matters. It looks like you are doing well with your goals.
ReplyDeleteI am having fun and sometimes I think a lot of us readers need to stop pressuring ourselves.
DeleteMay did fly by in a whir. I had a terrible month of reading and blogging. I hope I can stay on track the rest of the summer. Hey, being on track for the GR challenge for even a day is pretty darn good.
ReplyDeleteMay wasn't good at all for me but you are doing pretty good with all challenges. Approximately 50% which is great because June just started!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are doing good to me.
ReplyDeleteI think you're in a pretty good position on most of your challenges and there are still plenty months to get caught up on everything. A nice run of good books will do wonders for you!
