This week's topic is books on our Summer TBR (which is a topic always bad for my wishlist). However, I'm kind of bad at following TBRs so I'm going to share with you books which I have on hold through Overdrive - you never know when they'll come in and they love to throw a chink in your plans! I did a similar topic in mid-March and it's fun to see what's changed.
I want to read this one because it takes place in the Appalachian hills of WV.
My Dad always threatened to move us to Alaska when I was a kid. I love reading about it but don't think I could live there. Heard this also has a cute dog.

I do a lot of audio from overdrive, and I love having a lot of holds because you never know when they'll come in, but I can ensure that one does come in at least every week or close to it! Of course they also sometimes have tendency to come all together, and then it's freak out time! :D

DeleteCute dogs are always a good reason to read a book! My mum and her brother have always wanted to go to Alaska, and every so often they both try to convince the family to go there for a holiday, but I honestly can't imagine it -- I have no doubt it's beautiful, I just am not a fan of the cold. However the cuteness of The Tourist Attraction sounds promising!

DeleteI haven't even HEARD of most of those! I do like Gail Carriger, though -- at least her YA series. One of these days, I will get around to reading her adult books.

ReplyDeleteI have three local libraries I can access and can actually do 10 on each of them which can create some chaos let me tell you. Add in Hoopla and physical books and it can be overwhelming. But a good overwhelming.

ReplyDeleteLeif was a handsome devil. Didn't he commit some kind of serious crime a few years back? That thought is tickling the back of my brain for some reason. 😛
I know Leif got in some kind of trouble and also had a run in with drugs. I've seen him on some reality tv clip show on cable making stupid comments and it doesn't even look like him. I'm curious to hear about all that happened in this book.
