So I've Been Thinking and I Need Input....

So, I've been thinking I have quite a few dog books I'd like to read so I'm thinking about doing a challenge/read-a-thon/something next year to remedy that.  Basically I'm looking at a February "They Call It Puppy Love" read-a-thon.  Basically people could sign up and for every dog related title/cover/etc, they could link a review and at the end I would have a drawing for $10.00 Book Depository Give-Away (an entry per review).  Would anyone be interested?  I want it as stress-free as possible, but also would like to have a few pals to read along with.  Just post a comment if you think this idea would "fly" and then if so, I can do some planning.

Thanks for any input you can provide!!!

    1. Well, I'm still tweaking it and to be honest, I have more in mind maybe books that feature a dog, have dogs on the cover or something. That way it opens things up more. I hope to see you there.

  2. I'm going to have to go through my TBR for any dog-related books I need to read before I can get back to you on whether it's possible for me to participate, but I think it's a great idea and I can definitely see many dog lovers wanting to get on board!

    1. I've had enough ideas and comments that I'm pretty sure I can swing it. I'm going to open it up more so I hope to see you there. Werewolves are dogs right?

  4. I love books with dogs in them. I'll have to check my Kindle, but it does sound like fun and February is a good time of year.

  5. I know I have some dog related books no my tbr... because some of them only made it on my tbr because of the dogs :) the trick will be finding them. Because do I have a shelf on Goodreads to help me? Of course not. I think it would be fun and I love the name!

    1. Surely you can find one. Maybe even a werewolf or dog sidekick somewhere?

    2. Hey on another note, are you following the Parnassus Bookstore blog? I always see dog articles from them and I want to Tweet you, but I'm not sure you're on twitter. You really need to know about this bookstore, they have dog employees and they talk about them all the time!
