So this month looks like it will be a mix of horror, cozy mysteries and Christmas. So many people were doing Halloween features on their blogs that I ended up adding more books than I can possibly handle. Add that to the fact that I read horror all year round and I didn't get to some I wanted to read last month and that's why there is still a fair share of it here. Plus...Christmas (I can't even believe I'm typing that!)
There's way too many good looking books here this month! Have you read any of these???
We Sold Our Souls is on my ereader waiting for me! I got very little done for horror month which was disappointing and I've signed up for SF month so it'll be a change of focus for me. Lots of interesting looking books planned though!
ReplyDeleteI finished it last night. It was good. I don't know that I LOVED it, but I did really enjoy it and I like the MC.
DeleteI finally finished the book I'm reading (which was kind of a slog) and now I can move on to We Sold Our Souls! I'm so excited to start it!

Can't wait for your thoughts.
DeleteAll. The. Puppies! Awwwww Mutts and Mistletoe is calling me.
ReplyDeleteYes, I definitely want to pick it up soon!
DeleteI've only read Rebecca, but I liked it...and liked finally knowing the whole story. I really want to read We Sold Our Souls and The Haunting of Hope House; both of those look really good.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all your reads!
DeleteI loved Rebecca, and One Day in December looks really good! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteOne Day in December was okay. It's not something I normally read but I do like to mix things up.
DeleteI haven't read any of these but that cover of Mutts and Mistletoe is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteOh my gosh, I added SO many new horror tales to my TBR last month as well... I cannot wait to dive into holiday reads though :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a really dangerous month for adding reads.
DeleteNo not Christmas!! I'm not even close to being ready for it. The only one on your list I'll be reading is City of Broken Magic, but I think it's going to be really good.
ReplyDeleteI'm not ready for Christmas but I'm giving in.
DeleteOh, nice list, Barb!! And I LOVE that you're already looking forward to Christmas!! "ARF, ARF"!! :) :)
ReplyDeleteSo these are the ones that are calling my name: "City of Broken Magic", "One Day in December", and "Mutts and Mistletoe"! Yeah, that mutts cover looks entirely ADORABLE!! And I LOVE the plots of all three of these books! I've already added them to my Goodreads shelves!!
As for "Rebecca", as I mentioned in the comment to a previous post, I read it years ago. Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for sharing your "contenders"!! Enjoy them all!!
HUGS TO YOU AND THE PUPS, AND "WOOF, WOOF" TO THEM!! <3 <>3 <3 :) :) :)
So I'm glad to add to your shelves - I'll do that anytime :)
DeleteI'm mixing up the same genres with the majority being cozies. Looks like we are reading some of the same books too.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm seeing some of the same books all around.
DeleteI'm looking forward to City of Broken Magic. One of my blogging buddies didn't care for it much, though. 📚
ReplyDeleteOh no!
DeleteYou have a lot of cool books up for this month, hope you can get to them all! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThis gives you some options depending on your mood. I hope you enjoy the books you are able to read this month.
