Can't Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings to spotlight highly anticipated books. It is based on the Waiting on Wednesday meme which used to be hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

WHY I CAN'T WAIT: So first, let's just ignore the fact that there are snakes on this cover and focus on the fact that's it's my favorite color - Prince approved purple. Now on to the content. I love the fact that this takes place in Louisiana and seems to have a heavy voodoo undercurrent. I'll have to get it on Kindle so I won't have to look at the cover much but it's definitely one I want to pick up.

Oh yes please *WANTS* I lvoe that it looks like a neon sign in a club against a snake of all things. The Price approved purple works so well -- and then the blurb throws in a spirit posession. This is going to be such a wild ride, Barb!

DeleteI haven't heard of this book, Barb. I had to laugh when you said you'd get it on Kindle so you don't have to look at the cover. Now if the cover had spiders on it I probably wouldn't even get it on Kindle...lol. Snakes don't bother me too much--especially since I live in Iowa! Enjoy the book!

I wish I didn't. I took my Gpa to the country two years ago to visit old family graves on Memorial Day and there was a black snake lying there just waiting for me to walk across him. I actually managed not to scream or panic - it was a miracle.
