Can't Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings to spotlight highly anticipated books. It is based on the Waiting on Wednesday meme which used to be hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

WHY I CAN'T WAIT: Despite the fact that I've yet to read Christina Henry's "The Girl in Red," I LOVE Red Riding Hood and all its retellings. I also want to learn more about those vicious wolves.

I love Red Riding Hood inspired stories too, and there aren't nearly enough of them out there! I need to check this one out!

DeleteI have never read a Red Riding Hood retelling. It might be the wolf factor because I don't care for werewolves, but are the wolves in Red Riding Hood retellings usually werewolves, or shape-shifters? 📚
ReplyDeleteI love werewolves...probably more than vampires. And the whole Twilight didn't really ruin wolves for me like it did with sparkling vamps. However, even in Red Riding Hood, I was rooting for the wolf. Guess I'm twisted that way.
