Stacking the Shelves (117)/Sunday Post

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews. And it now has a new co-host where individuals can link up as well - Marlene from Reading Reality.  Clicking on the book (or title) should take you to the Goodreads page.  I'm also now linking up with the Sunday Post which is hosted by Kimberly@Caffeinated Book ReviewerI'm hoping to discover some new blogs to love.

You could say it was a bit of a book week at The Farm.  Of course, what else is new.  Crystal Lake Publishing is having a sale on 30 of their titles for $.99 each so I took advantage and grabbed a few I have been eyeing. I've been wanting "Aletheia" for a while and "Nameless" sounded really good.  "Through a Mirror, Darkly" and "Devourer of Souls" are books 2 and 3 in a series and I have the first one so I couldn't let them slip by.  Four horror books for less than $4.00 - not too shabby.

Next I grabbed the following freebies.  What could I say? Paul Anka (my Kindle) was a hungry puppy.  I have a real witch theme going with "Miss Lucy's Ghost," "Lustre," and "Necrowitch" and "Wisconsin Vamp" has been on my wishlist forever so when I saw it for free I thought I'd hit the jackpot!

And finally I received the following for review.  "The Sky is Yours" a dystopian with dragons which does come out until 2018 (can't believe I just typed 2018!).  I really am enjoying the Devil's Isle series so I was glad to get "The Hunt."  Finally, had to give you the weekly doggy fix with "Chasing Augustus."

What did you add to your shelves this week???

  1. Ooh some scary stuff! Love the neon look of The Sky is Yours, and The Hunt looks awesome too. Nice mix.

Hope you have a great weekend. :)

  2. I like that cover for Devourer of Souls and his other books on Goodreads but I don't really read anthologies now as they are so hit and miss. Ereaders are way to handy for getting piles of bargain books aren't they...not that we REALLY mind...! My books this week are ones that were recommended to me through other blogs. I'm not sure about a couple of them but I'll give them a try! Hope you all have a great weekend at the Farm!

  4. I have a copy of Aletheia, and I need to make some time for it. I think it's going to be really good. I need to go through the list of Crystal Lake books in the next couple of days because I'm sure there are a few I need to grab. :)

  6. I don't know how you have time to read all those freebies you download! But hey, they look like fun, if I bought books for my Kindle I'd totally be looking for freebies. (Weird quirk, I never buy Kindle books!) I love the cover for The Sky is Yours!

    1. My rationale is that I better grab them because they are free and if and when I decide I want to read them, they may not be. Oh well, it's a method to my madness :)

  10. Wow, so many great books, and lots of new ones to me. I do know Chloe Neill's Devil Isle's series though, and wow, I can't believe another book is out already. This reminds me I still have to get caught up with the second one.
