What's Happening (08-23-2020)...

So I'm doing things a tad bit differently this year and will be combining all of my regular weekend posts.  This will enable me to add more content on Fridays and it is just starting to make more sense.  I'll still be linking up with Stacking the Shelves at Tynga's Reviews and Sunday Post at Caffeinated Reviewer.  Both blogs are awesome so make sure you check them out.

Overall it's been a good week.  I've been working from home some which has been good and the boys are doing well.  We've managed to get a few more VA services linked for Gpa which I feel good about as well.

I've been getting a lot of reading done and at least COVID-19 has been good for my Goodreads challenge.  We've watched a couple of movies but I have to admit, none of them have been overly great.  We did enjoy Deep Sea 3 but you really can't go wrong with sharks.  I miss movie releases!

So this week I'm sharing a few arcs I received.  I'm excited for all of them.  I'm also participating in Monsterathon next month so look forward to some spooky reviews.

So as you can see, I'm getting ready for some scary and thrilling reads.  Hope you all are staying safe and thanks for visiting Booker T's Farm!

  1. Yes, I look forward to your spooky reads as well, lol! I'm really torn about the Christopher Golden, as the premise sounds awesome, but it is also the third book of the Ben Walker sequence and I can't say I loved the first two...maybe third time will be the charm?

    1. Yea, I've not read the other two but may dive in this winter. Looks like I may not have college football to keep me busy!

  4. I miss movie releases, too! We used to go to the movies all the time, so this has been weird for us.

  6. I like being home and I'm still reading a lot. At first I had to adjust because I wasn't listening to as much audio as when I traveled in the car for errands. I am doing better but still have to remember to work it in while doing chores. It's too easy to sit in front of the computer all day.

I also got If I Disappear. I hope we enjoy it!

    1. I really don't mind being at home as we are pretty much homebodies anyway. I still haven't jumped on the audiobook bandwagon.

  10. I'm already starting my reviews for my 31 Days Of Thrills And Chills feature in October. A review every day is a lot and I have to get ahead with them. A couple of these look like good ones to include.

  11. I've only just bought Deep Blue Sea 2 and 3 but I haven't watched them yet. I'm waiting for a shark mood to hit me where I can watch them both!

    1. I need to read You Let Me In but so many of my favorite bloggers have enjoyed it - including you. So for me that's VERY promising.
