I am participating in an informal event created by my friend Tammy over at Books, Bones & Buffy and she is doing a book cover love feature. This week I am looking at music and horror and let's just say, I've read a couple, but I've uncovered a whole new TBR to tumble down on me in the near future!
It's amazing how well these covers coordinate. I could easily have thrown Lucifer Sam in anywhere here as well and stayed on theme.
I read Heart-Shaped Box YEARS ago and really want to do a reread soon to see if I love it as much as I remember. I'm not a big rereader though and am always distracted by new shiny books!
Do you have any favorite horror books featuring music? If so, share in the comments so my TBR can grow even bigger!
We Sold Our Souls is a good one. I know I've read some but the only one coming to mind is Shock Rock by Jeff Gelb which I read a million years ago, lol.
ReplyDeleteAwesome list! I forgot a few of these when I was making my post. And I'm curious to hear what you think of D7, it might just be a me thing. I would also add Hot Wax (except it's not horror) to the Schrader's Chord, My Ex and We Sold of Souls group, the cover fits perfectly😁
ReplyDeleteThese covers are awesome. And I love how you were able to find so many horror novels with a music theme. Very fun! :D
ReplyDeleteLove the cover of Disco Death Trap! There are a few on here that are already on my TBR, especially anything by Grady Hendrix. Fun post!
