October 2016 Wrap Up

I felt like October was a slower reading month but in looking back, I read 9 novels so I can't complain.  I also participated in two tag team reads which I'm having a lot of fun with and did one author interview.  Let's face it, a lot of us readers always want to read more than what we do huh?  Anyway, let's get on with the overview and challenge updates.

GOODREADS: 99/100 - almost there!
WHAT AN ANIMAL IX: 22/12 (finished in July)
CLOAK & DAGGER CHALLENGE: 25/20 (finished in August)
HORROR READING CHALLENGE :24/16 (finished in August)
NEW RELEASE CHALLENGE: 69/30 (finished in June)
RIP XI - continued on with my reading plans and added several horror stories and several movies to the list.  I only read one short Kelley Armstrong story but hey, that's better than nothing.

I had 2 5-paw reads, 6 4-paw reads and 1 3-paw read,    I'm already starting to plan what challenges I'm going to participate in next year.

So how did your October go?

  1. Nice job on your challenges. I've wrapped up all but one more book on mine. I'm planning to some of the challenges again next year and looking for some new ones.

  2. Wow you're doing great on the challenges! I'm looking forward to doing some next year, since I didn't so ANY this year lol. And 9 books is great! October did fly by...

    Happy Halloween!

  3. Yeah, I feel like I had a slower reading month too and didn't get to all the books I had wanted to get to, but it does seem like it always happens that way. You're doing fantastic on your challenges though! I set myself a few kind of goals at the beginning of the year and have done terrible at most of them lol.

  4. Great job on your challenges! Since you're already so close, I'll just congratulate you now on reaching 100 with your Goodreads goal :)

  5. Looks like you did great to me! You're so close on your goodreads challenge! I'm still behind, but only 5 books behind (I was 10 at one point). I'm thinking I'll make it :) Here's to a great November!

  6. Your challenges are going more for your Goodreads Challenge, yea! I'm hoping to get plenty more reads done before the end of the year.
