This week I have quite a few things to share. I'll start off with library books. I needed to pick up Etched in Bone so I can read an ARC I have for the companion series. I also couldn't resist grabbing American Drifter because I admit, I'm curious about Chad Michael Murray's writing (especially since he was once on my favorite Gilmore Girls.
Then I was lucky enough to catch a few books which I had on my Amazon Wishlist for free this
And finally I have a few review copies (of course) - The Skin Room (#StormiMadeMeDoIt), The Past is Never, Missing Molly, and Dead Links.
So what did you add to your shelves this first week of the new year???
I was restrained...just three downloads and a paperback to finish one of my favourite zombie series!I need to keep that up for another 51 weeks....nah, no chance!
ReplyDeleteGreat job...only 51 more weeks to go. You can do it!
DeleteWow you did pick up quite a few books this week :) I really need to continue with the Anne Bishop series, I've only read Written in Red and I really enjoyed it. Enjoy all your new reads :)
ReplyDeleteStart it...NOW. It's such a wonderful series.
DeleteI've been tempted to request The Past is Never, but I'm trying to cut back on requesting, so I'll wait for your review😊
ReplyDeleteI got it as an auto download on Edelweiss, but it's probably still available. You know you want to!
DeleteEvery year I say I'm going to start reading The Others series, and I have yet to do it! Maybe this year?
ReplyDeleteYes, do it. It's one of those series I wish I could start all over again for the very first time.
DeleteYou got some spooky-looking books. I hope you love them all!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
The spookier the better.
DeleteIntriguing to see Chad Michael Murray's name on a book! I hope it's good! :-)
ReplyDeleteMe too. I still can't think of him as any thing other than Tristan on Gilmore Girls. He was so young then.
DeleteThe Asylum and Mrs. Dracula both look like a trip. Missing Molly is a new one to me too- a thriller? Will have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteYea there seems to be a lot of thrillers coming out the first few months of 2018.
DeleteGreat haul! I really need to read Written in Red, I've had it on my shelves for two years now and I have no idea why I haven't read it yet... Hopefully 2018 will be the year! Have a wonderful week and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI think most people love The Others Lynn and I know I would highly recommend it.
DeleteI’ve been wanting to try Written in red for a long time. Great haul and I can’t wait to see what you think of these!
ReplyDeleteYes start them...then we can gush about them together!
DeleteSeems like a great haul. These are all new to me but I hope you enjoy all of these.

Thanks for stopping by The Farm and have a wonderful week!
DeleteI practiced a little restraint and didn't buy too many books. Trying to watch for some sales. You sure did get some good ones!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Restraint is good - and highly overrated :)
DeleteThat's a big haul :) happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Evelina!
DeleteGreat haul! I am curious about Missing Molly. Enjoy them all...and thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteThe new books look amazing and I hope that you enjoy them. Happy reading. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenea. At least I have plenty to choose from.
DeleteI've heard great things about Anne Bishop's books! One of my closest blogger friends really enjoyed the series. The books seem pretty good but so many to catch up on. I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Barb!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend. =)
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
Isn't it sad when I don't consider 5 books that much to catch up on. Guess that means I really love the series. I only need to read the last one and then start the new spin-off. I think you'll like them.
DeleteI have a copy of Etched in Bone I need to read--but first I have the book before it to get to. Hopefully very soon. You have quite a few great looking books there. I hope you enjoy them all, Barb! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and I can't recommend this series enough.
DeleteLots of great books this week! I really liked Etched in Bone. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThe Others! I HAVE to start that series god damn it! And Man! I can't believe I missed Asylum for free! Glad you got it Barb! Can't wait to hear what you think of it
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of a cover snob and occasionally have been known to judge books by their covers - and all of those look wicked. I'm a non-fiction kind of gal, but for some of those covers I may make an exception!
ReplyDeleteOooh! I preordered Mrs. Dracula months ago when I saw that L.D. Goffigan had a story in there...but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet :( I can't wait to see what you think!
