Stacking the Shelves (153)

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews. And it now has a new co-host where individuals can link up as well - Marlene from Reading Reality.  Clicking on the book (or title) should take you to the Goodreads page.  I'm also now linking up with the Sunday Post which is hosted by Kimberly@Caffeinated Book Reviewer. 
First up I'd like to share 3 books I grabbed from Amazon.  "Widow's Point" was only  $1.99 and I have been eyeing it because I loved Chizmar's work with King on "Gwendy's Button Box."  I was able to grab "Witch Hunter" for free and since it was already on my wishlist, that was an awesome find.  Finally I saw "The Universes Inside the Lighthouse" and it sounded fun and a tad strange so since it was free, I grabbed it too.


I also received a few books from Penguin's First to Read program the past few weeks and have never mentioned them.  I fell in love with the cover of "Gun Love" and was curious about "The New Neighbors."  I've been seeing "Undead Girl Gang" around and couldn't resist and I love Karen White's last book so I grabbed "Dreams of Falling."

    First to Read has been having a lot of books up for grabs lately! I read a couple great ones this week that I grabbed from there. Hope yours are good too.

    I just saw Undead Girl Gang the other day and was tempted...and I just love the cover of Gun Love, I've heard really good things😁

      I really liked Gun Love but it's one of those books where I really don't know why. Totally confusing huh?

    Did you happen to be at the live chat with Lori Foster on Thursday? That's how I learned about JZ Foster! I didn't get any questions answered though, I felt a little disappointed. That was my first live chat with an author on FB.
    But you got some great reads yourself, and hope you enjoy them as well.

    I grabbed Undead Girl Gang from First to Read this week as well but haven't downloaded it yet. (Thanks for teaching me how to manage these First to Read downloads by the way.) I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Looks like some awesome reads! I want to read Undead Girl Gang and got approved by Edelweiss+ but was not able to download the format they use. It was weird. I hope you enjoy all your new books!

    The Universes inside the Lighthouse has the most intriguing title! I hope it proves to be a good read -- and Gun Love, I hear you, that is a HELL of a cover! (and title too I might add). It occured to me we never really see covers that colour, do we?

    Yay for sales and freebies! I've signed up for the First to Read program, but I've never actually used it cuz they rarely seem to have sci-fi/fantasy books on there :-/ But the girl gang one looks fun!
