TTT - My Favorite Villains

The top 10 weekly meme used to be hosted by The Broke and the Bookish they  handed over the reins to ThatArtsyReaderGirl who can be found HERE.  Each week she will focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading.

This week we are looking at villains so I thought I would share some of my favorite ones with you!

Algaliarept "Al" from The Hollows series.  There something very likable about this demon despite his demonic ways.

Eve Levine from the Women of the Underworld series.  Eve's a combination half demon and witch and while not a nice person, I found myself liking her.

Pam Ravenscroft from the Sookie Stackhouse series.  Some might argue that Pam is not a villain but I would argue she's just a villain with a soft-side...and a taste for blood and carnage.

Snape - Enough said.  And I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of him on today's topic.

Dracula - He started my love affair with vampires at a very young age.

Jack Torrence - Jack does evil so well!!!

The Big Bad Wolf - Come on, argue with me on this one...I dare ya :)

Pennywise

Brady - I've not read the books but he's an awesome villain on the TV series.

Atl - she rocks.  Have you not read this yet??? You all KNOW I love this book!!!!

So there you have it.  Some villains I love and some I love to hate.  Who made your list?

    1. The new Pennywise is so much creepier than the older one and I didn't even think that was possible.

    1. Yes and she will forever be ingrained in my mind as the actress they cast her with in the series - she was perfect.

  4. I figured Pennywise would make some lists. He definitely made mine! Stephen King has such great villains doesn't he. I am on the fence about Snape being a bad guy. He was definitely a jerk and selfish but did save Harry's life on many occasions. I picked Umbridge. She was pure evil.

    1. Yea, he definitely was a gray character. I liked him but I think in the beginning he was definitely portrayed as more evil than not.

  5. Snape is a pretty solid pick! Only one I know but clearly a huge one I can't believe I didn't think of him.

    1. Books often need a good villain to be so good.

  9. Isn't it funny how some characters can be terrible, or in this case demonic, yet still likeable? I haven't read most of these, but yay Dracula! And I love that you included the Big Bad Wolf, haha. I won't argue, seems like a great choice to me!

  11. I’m excited to read Mr. Mercedes. I think that’s the next King book I’m going to read. Snape has been on a lot of lists this week. I guess that makes sense. He’s iconic.
