This week's topic is the most recent additions to my bookshelf. Since I usually update this on my weekend post, I'm going to share the last 10 books I added to my Amazon wishlist. I tend to add lesser known books here when I'm browsing so I thought it would mix things up! (Clicking on the picture should take you to the Goodreads page).
THE ROO - Alan Baxter
HOLIDAY OF THE DEAD - ANTHOLOGY
INK IN THE BLOOD - Kim Smejkal
WHITE ANVIL: SASQUATCH ONSLAUGHT - Matt Betts
DEMONS ARE RUDE - Gary Williams and Vicky Knerly
LET'S GO PLAY AT THE ADAMS' (Paperbacks from Hell) - Mendal W. Johnson
THE STARVING - Jon Dobbin
NOTORIOUS - Gordon Korman
LOST BUT FOUND - Peter Sharp
THE CYCLE - John Wayne Comunale
GYPSY KING - Devney Perry
So I accidentally gave you an extra one. Oh well, one can never have too many books on the wishlist!
Lost But Found looks so good!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
Verushka over at Pop.Edit.Lit recommended it to me and I've wanted to read it ever since!
DeleteWhite Anvil just might have to go on my TBR!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it should!
DeleteA lot of these are unfamiliar, but I love the sound of The Roo, and also glad to see White Anvil on your list! I think it's going to be fun.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read Roo.
Deletegreat list. that sasquatch cover is awesome!
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental
I think that cover rocks as well.
DeleteThe Roo looks off the wall bonkers, incredible. I need to read it immediately and I haven't even looked up what it's about yet. But I'm excited to see one I actually know: Let's Go Play at the Adams', which sounds SO UNSETTLING -- and yet it's also been on my Secret TBR for some time now. We have to pick up Interlibrary Loan books at the front desk at my library, and I feel a little too awkward picking up a book w/ this cover so I haven't yet. I didn't know it was being reprinted -- that's good to hear; it was scarce and prohibitively expensive to buy when I first heard of it.
ReplyDeleteOn the opposite end of the spectrum, Lost But Found looks precious.
I can see why you might feel awkward but hey, I wouldn't let it bother me. That being said, it is being re-released in March and you can even grab a Kindle copy then. It's such an infamous book that I'm thrilled to finally be able see what all the fuss is about.
DeleteKim Smejdal always seems so nice on Twitter. I hope you love these books!
ReplyDeleteI love it when authors interact on Twitter.
DeleteMy wishlist is getting pretty long too.
ReplyDeleteIt's an easy thing to happen.
DeleteThat cover of Notorious is so cute! 😊
ReplyDeleteYou've got Roo on there. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI need it NOW!
DeleteI can see why these are on your wishlist. The Roo and The Starving look kind of awesome as does Holiday of the Dead. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely some great covers here.
DeleteI haven't heard of any of these, but I hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Thanks Susan!
DeleteI am curious about Ink and Blood. That cover certainly appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteI've seen it around some but not a lot. I think it sounds pretty good too.
DeleteOoh, I like the look of Ink in the Blood. I can see me adding a lot more books to the tbr this week.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
I ran into the same problem.
DeleteI definitely need to read White Anvil! That cover is fabulous, and heck yes for more cryptid books. Definitely adding Demons Are Rude to my TBR, too. It's a really cute title, and it sounds like a great read.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT post.
I love the title too!
DeleteI think that the only one I have seen before is Gypsy King. I would buy Lost But Found for the cover alone.
ReplyDeleteGypsy King isn't something I'd normally grab but I've wanted it for a while now.
DeleteI can see myself adding a lot of these but OMG I want ROO! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome right!
DeleteZombies and Monsters... Nope, nope, nope.
ReplyDeleteGypsy King?! Oooh yes. I grabbed that one on a 99p sale this week! :)
I wish I could find it on sale.
DeleteI added White Anvil as well as it just sounds like my kind of thing. The Roo looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteI figured you would add The Roo too.
DeleteSo many fun sounding books! I love the cover of Notorious. Haha. I hope you love all of these, Barb!
ReplyDeleteGotta love that little doggy!
DeleteI love the cover for Roo! Ha ha. The cover for Notorious is cute. 🐾✨
ReplyDeleteAnd I now have Roo in my possession. It just came out today!
