Friday Face Off - Something Sweet

So I've kind of followed this meme, which is hosted by Books by Proxy  In all honestly, I've seen Lynn, Tammy and Mogsy do it on their blogs and always thought it looked like fun.  Today's topic was one I could get on board with and even if I only participate here and there, I might as well give it a shot.  Each week there is a theme which allows you to feature different covers of the same book to see which people prefer.  So on with the post!

Coraline opened the box of chocolates. The dog looked at them longingly.” – A cover featuring something sweet

 1 - Atlas-Cotact (2008)
2- Bokautgafan Tindur (2008)
3 - Harper Collins (2008)
4 - Harper Perrenial Canada (2008)
5- Harper Torch (2008)
6 - Harper Collins Published Ltd (2009)

What's sweeter than a dog (so now you know why I had to participate this week).  I actually think #4 is the cutest and it's the copy I searched the hardest for to add to my collection.  I also like #6 because the dog is adorable and he's balancing a little race care on his nose.

Which edition do you like best and are you going to see the movie?

  1. Aww, what cute covers! I've read the book, but I can't remember which version I had. I think number four is particularly sweet.

  2. They are all really cute but I like the fourth one as it is a fun cover! I follow Mogsy's post in this meme every week and have considered taking part but never quite got round to it!

    1. I'm hoping to keep up on it. I admit, sometimes my brain doesn't work and I have a hard time coming up with ideas.

  5. Yay, I'm glad you're participating in Friday Face-Off and I hope there are future dog interpretations you can do so you can keep doing it :D I read this book (and it made me cry), I think I would have to go with the Harper Collins edition as that's the one I own.

    1. I'll be mixing it up. I'll do dogs when I can but I'm such an eclectic reader, it's hard to tell what you might see.
