March 2018 Monthly Wrap Up

I'm surprised to find that I read 9 items during the month of March because it seems like it to FOREVER to read "The Hunger."  Although a few of these were comics  but hey, reading is reading right?  And they were totally enjoyable.  So here's a recap:

Snowblind: Christopher Golden 5/5
Dead of Winter: Kyle Starks 4/5
Neighborhood Watch: Stuart R. West 5/5
Gun Love: Jennifer Clement 4/5
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Issue #6: Roberto Aquirre-Sacasa 4/5
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Issue #7: Roberto Aquirre-Sacasa 4/5
The Hunger: Alma Katsu 2/5
The Wolves of Winter: Tyrell Johnson 4/5
The Boy Who Swallowed Flies: Michael F. Stewart 4/5

My favorite read had to be "Snowblind" but overall, I had quite a few 4/5 reads.  The biggest disappointment was "The Hunger" but I'm still glad I read it because at least I'm no longer curious about it.

What was your favorite read this month???

  1. Lots of good reads for you in March. I'm like that about a book that didn't work for me too. I'm at least no longer haunted by it. LOL

    1. Yea that's the best way I can look at The Hunger. Curiosity no longer an issue.

  2. Great month! I'm having a bit of that wishing I had read The Hunger so I would "know" what I'm missing out on feeling.

    1. You might like it if you decide to give it a go. But I liked so many others so much better.

  4. Yeah, sometimes one slow book can throw off the groove. But I'm glad you you got to knock some comics/graphic novels off the tbr!

  6. Great job! I read 9 books in March but had one DNF. Other than that it was a pretty good reading month. I hope our APril's are just as good or better.

  8. Reading seems to have went out the window at the moment. I think I'll need to change my Goodreads challenge total! Looks like you did well overall!
