Can't Wait Wednesday (219)

Can't Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings to spotlight highly anticipated books.  It is based on the Waiting on Wednesday meme which used to be hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

SYNOPSIS:  If you can't run with the big dogs…

It was supposed to be a corporate retreat and a series of morale-boosting exercises. It was a weekend Shawn Biltmore nearly didn't survive.

There was something else playing in the woods that night, something other than a bunch of corporate drones with paintball guns.

And it had chosen Shawn as its new chew toy.

…rip 'em to shreds.

The local authorities chalked it up to a bear attack.

So did the doctors.

Shawn knew the truth, however, as much as he wanted to deny it.

But when one of his coworkers is viciously killed, Shawn must face the truth…

He's a killer who needs to be put down.

Or is he?

WHY I CAN'T WAIT: I've loved the other books I've read by Stuart and he's been a past guest at Booker T's Farm so I always like spreading the word about his new books!

WHAT BOOK CAN'T YOU WAIT FOR THIS WEEK????

    1. I know. They've always been a fave of fine. I like them even more than vampires. Probably because of the obvious - fur and paws.

  7. I like the sound of this one, I really do, and I've not read the author before so perhaps this is the perfect starting point.

  20. What's up, gang? Hey, Stuart R. West, author of the aforementioned werewolfian Can't Wait Wednesday morsel, Corporate Wolf. First, thanks to Barb for showcasing my book. Second, I'd like everyone to understand that I can't help but genre-cross; Corporate Wolf started out as straight-up horror (should I put a "Yo" in there?), but it morphed into much more. It's a murder mystery, suspense thriller, Big Bad Business corporate satire, a very, very dark comedy, and, natch, (I hope) scary horror. And the business aspects are based on the truth. If any of you book bloggers/reviewers are interested, I'm more than happy to send a copy. Also, if you're in the neighborhood (first weekend in August), I'll be premiering the book at the Scares That Care convention in Williamsburg, Virginia. Stop by and say hey! In the meantime, howl at the moon often, please. Aroooooo!

  21. I love the idea of a horror story centered around a corporate team building retreat. Those things are nightmares anyway, lol.
