July Down for the Count!

I think being late is becoming the norm for my monthly wrap-up.  However, it is a good tracking system for me and all my challenges so better late than never.  Seems I've said that a lot this year.  In July, I had some vacation time and for once, I actually used it to read.  I completed 10 books and am very happy with what I read.  So let's see the breakdown!

Castle of Sorrows - Jonathan Janz 4/5

The Flatshare - Beth O'Leary 4/5
(Library Lovers)

Riverdale 2: Get Out of Town - Micol Ostow 3/5
(Library Lovers, Cloak & Dagger)

Shadow of Night (All Soul's Trilogy #2) - Deborah Harkness 4/5

They Kill - Tim Waggoner 4/5

NOS4A2 - Joe Hill 4/5

The Case of the Moderate Extremist (Detective Varg 0.8) - Alexander McCall Smith 4/5
(Library Lovers, Cloak & Dagger, What an Animal)

The Last Stage - Louise Voss 5/5
(Cloak & Dagger)

Word to the Wise (Library Lover Mystery #10) - Jenn McKinlay 4/5
(Cloak & Dagger, What an Animal)

The Scent of Murder (Jazz Ramsey #1)  - Kylie Logan 5/5
(Library Lovers, What an Animal, Cloak & Dagger)

So overall I read some real gems this month.  Nothing below a 3/5 too which is great.  My favorite has to be "The Scent of Murder" although "The Flatshare" is a close second.

TOTAL PAGES: 3409

So how was your July???

  1. It looks like you had a great reading month, Barb! Mostly 4 and 5 star books is great!

  2. Really good ratings for all the books you read so that is a big plus! I'm ploughing through a few thicker books at the moment so progress is a bit slow!

    1. I don't mind reading thicker books but they really do slow me down.

  4. yay I'm excited to read the All Soul's Trilogy too! Happy to hear all your books were good in July! I gave up with my "always being behind" with wrap ups and doing quarterly reports now LOL

  5. NOS482 might just sneak it's way onto my tbr. I should see if Hoopla has the audio. 🎧

No books under three stars out of ten! I think you had a great reading month. 👍✨

    1. I know the audio is really long because Stormi has looked into it. It might be good on audio as well.
