So we all know I jumped the gun and did this week's topic last week. You can see my alternative titles HERE if you missed them. So this week I'm sharing books I read or bought strictly because of the title.
So it may have been a combination of title and the cover. It was so worth the read.
I remember clearly seeing this one at my library and grabbing it without even seeing what it was about. At the time I don't know if I'd made the Joe Hill/Stephen King connection yet either.
I haven't read it yet but with a title like this, how could I NOT add it to the TBR?
When I saw this book, I immediately wanted to know more about this last woman. So glad I read it and I highly recommend this book.
This title says it all!
I took a chance on this one and it paid off.
I need to know more about this book and added it to this year's Christmas list without even reading the synopsis.
Seriously, first the title, then the cover. Who cares what it is about!
When I added this to my wishlist, there was no cover and no synopsis. All I saw was the title and then the author. That's all I need.
Key word - spellbook 😃
Awesome word play - and cute pup.
So there you have it. And apparently this week I can't count because here's eleven!
That poor pug in the first title! I feel sorry for the wee guy!
ReplyDeleteHe actually ended up wrapping a reluctant owner around his paw. Such a cute read.
DeleteBarb, I went through your list, and tried to get into them, but honestly, hand on my heart, the only thing I saw was the pug on My Pug is an Asshole *dies laughing* That face and that title = GOLDEN!
ReplyDeleteYou need to get your hands on that novella. It's hilarious.
DeleteMy Pug is an Awesome is an awesome title :) I have been know to pick up a book simply because of the title as well.
ReplyDeleteYep, covers and titles. Sometimes who cares about the plot right?
DeleteMy Pug is an Asshole is such an attention-grabbing title.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
I agree. It has to be one of the best.
DeleteI'm beyond excited for Grady Hendrix's book! I can't wait for the cover reveal, and yep, that title is awesome😁
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either and am waiting for the cover for a CWW feature. I just hope no dog dies.
DeleteBahaha the pug one! I also like Cold Nose Warm Heart. So true~!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great dog book title.
DeleteI'd read that Pug one just because of the title, too. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
You need to. It's a novella so it's a quick, fun read.
DeleteI really like Pupcakes. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend that one as well as the author's other books.
DeleteAww, some of these are so cute - I love Cold Nose, Warm Heart!
ReplyDeleteI just want to hug that dog!
DeleteHow coukd anyone not want to read My Pug is an Asshole? 😁
ReplyDeleteI know right?

I have a fondness for smushy faced dogs - at least that's what I call them.
DeleteNice list. I sometimes grab a book because of the catchy title too:)
ReplyDeleteSometimes it works out huh?
DeleteThe Last Woman in the Forest looks so good!! Adding it to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteYES! I hope you love it!
DeleteGliding back in to say that I finally made time to read this, and not only was it a perfect January read, I did indeed love it! I really don't think I would have heard about it if not for your post, so thank you again.
DeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteThat first book - lol.
