TTT - This Needs a New Title

The top 10 weekly meme used to be hosted by The Broke and the Bookish they  handed over the reins to ThatArtsyReaderGirl who can be found HERE.  Each week she will focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading.

This week's topic is books I'd give different titles to. I honestly don't know how this one's going to go so who knows if we will actually hit 10 or not!

"Slow Ride"

"The Racist Pervert Gets a Dog"
OR
"This Dog Isn't in the Book"

"Beware the Pink Devil"

"Boring Cannibals on the Prairie"

"IT"
(oops that one's already taken!)

"Pure Hell"

"Poor Max"

"Oy With the Poodles Already"

So that's about all I can come up with. I'm sure I'll see some stellar examples while blog hopping today.  Wish I could have came up with better.

**** So I looked at the wrong date so I guess I'm just giving you a preview of what to expect next week - oops!

  1. I laughed out loud at "the Racist Pervert gets a dog" and "Pure hell"! You did better than I Barb, the only thing I've ever named with any success is our Maltese, Spike. And that's because I've watched too much Buffy lol

    1. I think Spike is the perfect name. I love naming pets and really want two puppies named Barlow and Bowie. Mr. Barb doesn't like those names though.

  2. I loved your version! I didn't do this topic as it looked too much like hard work but I wish I'd thought of doing something funny like this! I loved the Biloxi re-titling!

    1. I'm gonna have to think of a topic for next week's since I jumped the gun on this one. I look at Biloxi and honestly, if it wasn't for the dog, I would never have finished it.

  13. I'm laughing at your alternate title for The Hunger - I really was expecting more action in that one, too!

  16. Clearly you need to title all books, these sound so much more disturbing (and I don't do disturbing, so I need a warning) than the real titles imply.

    1. Yea, it was much easier to pick books I didn't like than the few here I did.

  20. Dang that's a good warning for Biloxi. I would have been suckered in by that cover! (also, LOL @ The Hunger. And Little Heaven. And your alternate title for Lauren Graham's is perf)

    1. Glad you enjoyed them. Yea, I expected so much more from Biloxi. I didn't hate it but the MC did give off some creepy vibes.

  21. Yes! Poor poor Max. I was in pain from that scene for weeks. 😢

Boring Cannibals on the Prairie. 😂 Priceless. 😆

    1. I will NEVER fully get over Max. It was so useless and I felt it didn't really need to be in the book.
