This week we are looking at books from our favorite authors that we haven't read yet. Since my wishlist/TBR is miles long, this shouldn't be too hard.
This series made Bishop one of my favorites but I still can't bring myself to read book #5 (so sad this part ended even though I know there is a spin-off).
I've loved almost everything I ever read by this author so I don't know why I never started this series.
I love Briggs and I adore this series but for some reason, I ended up stopping when this book came out. I need to read it.
Cameron's Repo Man Mystery books made him one of my faves but for obvious reasons, I've not started this book.
I've joked that I'd read a phone book by Seanan McGuire if she wrote it and people love this series so I don't know why I've not read the first one.
Everyone knows I LOVE King and I could pretty much include all of these on my list.
I adore Shea's creature features and this one has been on the TBR forever.
No words and no excuses
I preordered this one but I think because it got mixed reviews, I put it off and now I'm scared it will disappoint me
I really have to remedy this one soon.
So what books from your favorite authors haven't you read???

I love the Mercy Thompson books though I'm a couple behind at the moment. I've still to read N0S4A2 and The Fireman of Joe Hill's and a couple of recent Stephen King books I was given, though they are not priority. I've still got about 7 or 6 stand-alone Hunter Shea books to read plus that paranormal series I haven't tried. I'll be reading the Montauk Monster next month!
ReplyDeleteI've read 3 Hill books but still need to read the 2 you've mentioned. I think Horns is my fave but admit I need to reread Heart Shaped Box because it's been so long.
DeleteI tried to read McGuire's October Daye series, but just could not get into it. I can't remember why, but I never did. Ocurred to me, that's kind of like my thoughts on Charlaine Harris' True Blood series. I've read her other work, but just can't be bothered with that one lol
ReplyDeleteI liked the Sookie books but when they ended, I was reading for it. I actually like Harris' Midnight Texas series better but it was only a trilogy which bummed me out.
DeleteI read a lot of Stephen King books when I was a teenager, but other than Under the Dome and 11/22/63, I haven't read a lot of his more recent stuff!
ReplyDeleteI would really recommend his new one - The Outsider. Super good read.
DeleteI didn't put Mr. Mercedes on my list but I sort of implied it. I'm way behind on King's books, for shame!
ReplyDeleteI feel good that I read The Outsider so quickly after its release. That being said, I feel bad I've not touched the Bill Hodges trilogy.
DeleteYep, you definitely need to read Rosemary and Rue! Mr. Mercedes was surprisingly good (all three of them) and OMG NOS4A2!? So good. :)
ReplyDeleteI know, so many good books to get to. Glad to hear you liked the October Daye books.
DeleteA Dog's Purpose is mostly happy but definitely most likely make you cry. The sequel is worse!!!! I was a blubbering mess. I didn't do this weeks TTT because I couldn't think of any. I have read all my favorite author's books lol.
ReplyDeleteOh no, why do we do it to ourselves with some of these dog books/movies!
DeleteYeah, I also have Briggs and McGuire on my list - I've read I think the first 8 of both series so need to catch up.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
Maybe I'll try to catch up on the Mercy Thompson books in January. Right now, I just have The Little Stranger slated.
DeleteI did love the movie A Dogs Purpose it made me have all the feels!
ReplyDeleteI need to prepare myself and just watch it. It does look so good!
DeleteI have City of The Lost on my list as well! I also need to catch up on The Others series by Anne Bishop, I've read the first three in the series but really need to read the fourth book sometime. I love the Mercy Thompson series!
ReplyDeleteI just love Meg and Simon so much. Such a good series.
DeleteSeveral of these would be on my list too. There are so many on my wish list right now. Montauk Monster was wicked. I always buy his full length books in print.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it. I'll bump it up on the TBR.
DeleteI need to read those Stephen King books, too. I hope we both like them!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Me too!
DeleteI still haven't picked up Anne Bishop's series, but I have got to try it. Everyone has recommended it to me.
ReplyDeleteAdd me to that list - you simply must read them!
DeleteI have actually read the first three books from your list. I have read the Briggs book twice now so I definitely think you should finish that series :) I have the Joe Hill book and Sleeping Beauties ready to go as well. I hope you do enjoy these
ReplyDeleteSee, our reading styles are once again quite close :)
DeleteI highly recommend Armstrong's Casey Duncan series! It's funny, before I read City of the Lost, I had never read anything by her before, and ironically, I started with a mystery book versus any of her fantasy stuff. Now I kind of want to check out everything else.
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I love her Cainsville series and think you should definitely pick those up before her others.
DeleteI've kinda had the October Daye series on my "wanna try" list lol for a while! And City of the Lost is a series I really like. The Montauk Monster looks fun!
ReplyDeleteI always think of you when I see City of the Lost. I know you enjoy that series a lot.
DeleteOh my gosh, I've had a copy of NOS4A2 for a few years and haven't read it either. Hope you find some time to get to these books soon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week. - Katie
I even preordered the darn thing!
DeleteI've only read the first book in The Others series, but I plan on catching up this year. :)
ReplyDeleteLauren @ Always Me
It's such a good series. I love love love it!
DeleteI've read City of the Lost and The Montauk Monster and both were really good! I hope you get to all of these!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you liked them. Thanks Tracy!
DeleteI haven't read ANY of these authors yet, which is really quite a fail. Like who hasn't read ANY Stephen King, right? I also really want to read The Others series, and ALL the Kelley Armstrong- I guess time has just not been on my side! Hope you enjoy these when you get to them!
ReplyDeleteOh no! A King virgin. You have to read at least ONE this year. I recommend Gwendy's Button Box. As a novella, surely you can fit it in!
DeleteThe only one on my TBR of your list is Sleeping Beauties. I got a lot of Stephen King on my TBR and I'm slowly making my way through them, haha. I'll get to that one eventually. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too. I know I've seen mixed reviews so I'm a tad nervous about it.
DeleteI haven't yet read Etched in Bone for the same reason. Patricia Briggs' series made it to my list too. I am way behind now. :-( I am a huge Kelley Armstrong fan too. And even just having only read two books by Seanan McGuire, I want to read everything she's ever written now. This is a great list!
ReplyDeleteI know. I have been saying if she wrote the phone book I'd read it too.
DeleteI have only read two Stephen Kings and I would love to read more. I think I would like The Shining and Doctor Sleep. 📚
ReplyDeleteYes, you have to read The Shining. It's my fave and I'd be curious about your thoughts.
