TTT - Books On My Fall TBR

The top 10 weekly meme used to be hosted by The Broke and the Bookish they  handed over the reins to ThatArtsyReaderGirl who can be found HERE.  Each week she will focus on lists which cover various topics related to books and reading.

So this week we are looking at books on my Fall TBR.  I love making TBR lists because I love looking at all the pretty covers and basically, I'm a list sort of gal.  HOWEVER, I don't usually strictly follow the lists so some of these may get read and some won't.  Oh well, best intentions and all that!  On to the books!

And since it's Fall, don't be surprised to see lots of creepy, spooky reads!  Also, I'm adding a few key words and a link to Goodreads so you'll know if you want to check any of these out.

The Chrysalis - Creepy basement makes owner do weird things.

Toil & Trouble - Witches

The Nightmarchers - ancient warrior island ghosts

Unexplained - True unexplained spooky stuff

Sawkill Girls - Insidious monster legend and girls (imagine that)

Not Even Bones - Black market body parts

The Good Demon - True Detective meets The Exorcist

Voyage of the Dogs - Space dogs called "barkonauts"

Life on the Leash - Woman who walks dog

So there you have it.  What made your list this week?
And oh boy, I bet my TBR grows by leaps and bounds with this topic!

  6. That cover for Voyage of the Dogs is so stinking cute!!!! How do you find these book? I hope you enjoy the 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I really liked it even though I was thoroughly confused half the time. I still love that cover of Toil and Trouble. I should just get it to sit on my Shelves at Halloween. Enjoy!

  9. Oh 7 Deaths is so good (we have half a death less in the UK haha). I really need a few more atmospheric reads on my seasonal TBR.

  13. Hopefully, I can fit a scary book or two in this fall. I am trying hard not to add too many new books to the pile right now.

  20. Great list of reads! I just finished an awesome thriller book titled Civil Terror: Gridlock. It’s written by J. Luke Bennecke (http://www.jlukebennecke.com/ ), it has a looming technological aspect that feels like it is our future just around the corner, and I just could not put it down. It is face paced and keeps you engaged the whole time. Jake is a great and realistic protagonist and I found myself rooting for him as things got intense. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to be gripped from start to finish!
