Stacking the Shelves (76)

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves or TBR piles, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, online, books you borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks! The original meme was started over at Tynga's Reviews.  Clicking on the book should take you to the Goodreads page.

I had to go to the library and pick up a few holds, so of course I had to browse the new book releases and ended up bring home more than what was on hold - of course!

Betrayals Suicide Squad Vol. 1 Dark Matter Chew Vol. 1

I had "Betrayals" on hold since I saw my library had ordered a copy and was thrilled to see they finally got in "Chew." I also couldn't believe "Dark Matter" was there on the new release shelf. I guess the people in my town don't realize how much hype it's getting.

I also picked up a few Kindle titles - a couple were on sale or free and then 2 I paid full price for because one was a recommendation from my friends Stormi I just had to try out and the other is for my "Read a Series in a Month Challenge."

Feed Whippoorwill Before the Snow
Darkhouse Marked Fur Murder Pies and Prejudice

I did get a few ARCs but only one or two so I will save them for next week.  What did you add to your shelves this week and have you read any of these?

  1. I tried reading Feed a few years back. It started off well but it dipped for me after that and I never finished it. Hope you have a better time with it!

  4. I'll give you the same advice as I gave my friend regarding Dark Matter: don't start this book at night, because you will be way past your bedtime reading! It was really hard to put down. My friend didn't listen to me, of course, and yet he still blamed me for being tired the next day because he was still reading at 4am the night before. :P
